The Domaine des Fargues is an old seventeenth-century farmhouse of some four hectares. The property is located in the Périgord Noir in Sainte Foy de Longas, between Périgueux, Bergerac and Sarlat and in the immediate vicinity of the valleys of the Vézère and the Dordogne. On a privileged site, in a quiet, preserved and green environment, the Domaine des Fargues offers breathtaking views, more than 25 km as the crow flies. You will enjoy the rest and serenity of a timeless stay. The ideal starting point to visit the riches of the Périgord.
Isolated from the rest of the property, this house of more than 250 m² has a heated and secure swimming pool of 10 m by 5 m and a south-facing terrace with garden furniture.
In the left wing of the house, a kitchen of some 30 m², fully equipped, with plenty of storage, dishwasher, oven, microwave, 2 fridges and dining table for 16 people offer all the necessary comforts.
In the spacious living room with exposed stone walls repointed in the old style, an imposing period fireplace and comfortable sofas accommodate about ten people.
A slatted staircase leads to the ground floor and distributes, from a landing, 2 large bedrooms with beautiful seventeenth century framework, solid parquet flooring, and 1 bathroom with bath and sink. Each bedroom offers 1 double bed of 180cm.
In the right wing of the house, you will find a bathroom with shower, bathtub on podium, double vanity unit and toilet. A second separate toilet and a storage room adjoins it.
In the extension of the bathroom, you benefit from a second living room with TV corner and a large bedroom with 3 bunk beds (for 6 children for example). The second living room is equipped with a sofa bed for 2 people.
From the living room, integrated into a semi-circular wall, a winding staircase leads to a mezzanine with 2 single beds as well as to 1 bedroom with exposed beams and double bed (180 cm). Solid parquet flooring throughout the floor.
A washing machine and a dryer are also at your disposal.
Note that the Cooper's house can be rented with the Clog Maker's house located a few dozen metres away to form a set that can accommodate 20 people.
