"The setting is beautiful and unique. The accomodations were very nice. Our room in particular was quaint and reflective of the natural surroundings. We did have an issue with our shower but the staff were very helpful and apologetic. We ate at the onsite restaurant. The food was (maybe not Michelin Star worthy but) very good and the service was excellent. All in I would recommend this hotel as a comfortable and interesting stop in their travels."

"We had a really super stay here. What a beautiful hotel; traditional, immaculately clean and so well equipped. We were made to feel so welcome for our short stay (hopefully longer next time!). "Very convenient for the station. Room clean and bright. Some of the woodwork and decoration looking a bit tired and worn but still clean. Aircon not brilliant but working. Being upgraded/replaced at the moment. Bedd very comfortable Breakfast good selection and well presented"
