"This was a pleasant accommodation in the centre of Athens. We had everything we needed, and we enjoyed the facilities that were available. The apartment is divided, nicely, into three sections, and there is a great balcony. Communication with the owner/manager was excellent and we were helped with anything we needed. The cost was reasonable, considering the location, and there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby."

It is situated between two busy streets, so expect some traffic noise regardless of the hour. If you're sensitive to sound at night, earplugs make it a non-issue. "We really enjoyed our stay at The Modernist. The hotel is in a quiet and lovely part of Athens, though very quick and easy to visit the main attractions from here. Breakfast was fabulous and staff all friendly and helpful. Kolonaki has many great non-touristy restaurants too. Would highly recommend. "
