"Really great stay, studio was brilliant. We were unable to find anywhere to eat on Saturday night, but because studio was so well appointed we were able to cook ourselves a meal. Everything about the studio was good. Aubusson was interesting with lots to see, but our impression was marred by there being stinky dog poo everywhere. The mayor needs to organise pavement cleaning. "La Corrèze est magnifique. Mais la résidence était extrêmement sale. Des murs jaunis et tachés aux poils d’animaux sous chaque meuble, le ménage normalement réalisé entre chaque location a clairement été oublié toute l’année.L’habitat était également en piteux état : des volets cassés qui ne fermaient pas aux portes difficiles à fermer. Le fait que chaque chambre ait sa salle de bain apporte beaucoup de confort. La cuisine est peu vestuste et manque de rangement pour les courses mais on s’adapte ! "The house has been renovated nicely and has most things that you need, except wifi! There is a reasonable telephone signal but we quickly used up our data roaming allowance as we were there to search for a property. There is a restaurant in the next village and a supermarket in Felletin which also hosts a country market on Friday mornings. It is lovely being in the middle of the Millevaches Plateau but that does mean it takes a long time to get anywhere. The host was very kind and helpful...

Good starting place for walks. From 00:00 also very good for night photography. Well received and got a lot of information about the region and surroundings. "I had a lovely week, away from it all, in Haute Correze. I love the area though I wasn't familiar with Ussel and its surroundings but found loads of new places to see and things to do. The accomodation was very spacious (I was alone), the dining room, kitchen and bathroom all well- equipped. I was there during a heatwave and the terrace was sometimes just too hot to sit out on, but still an asset to the property."

"There is very nice parking lot for your car. The staff is excellent and check in was very nice with an actual person. No self check-in required. Just be aware there are no faciiites close by as you are out in the country. The hotel does have a nice restaurant service with limited outs and a bar with wine and beer and some other alcohol. The stay was very pleasant and I recommend it though only if you have your own transportation. There are faciiities close by but you would need a car to get there. "
