"A beautiful property set so far back from the road you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, we had an accessible room from my partner in a wheelchair. The deck was beautiful slight wear and tear on the furniture, but that’s expected I suppose. Our welcome was wonderful and despite the language barrier and my rubbish attempt at French they was very accommodating. "Les prestations ne m'ont pas paru à la hauteur d’un 4 étoiles. Chambre très "fraiche" et dotée d’une climatisation ( version chaud) difficile à régler. Pas de peignoir, ni chausson dans les chambres, pas plus que de chauffe serviette dans la salle de bain. La VMC était très bruyante et a dû être réparée après une 1ere nuit blanche. Le ménage n’a pas été quotidien et j’ai retrouvé un soir ma chambre dans l’état où je l’avais laissé le matin. Pas de tonalité dans le téléphone quand j’ai essayé...

The manager, who's name i didnt catch was helpful, friendly and made us very welcome. Great breakfast too! The town is gorgeous and the park opposite the hotel is beautifully kept. "Hard to fault. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly (and spoke much better English than our rusty French). Our room with en suite shower/WC was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast buffet was tasty and generous, and our hosts went out of their way to accommodate dietary restrictions. Access when reception was closed was straightforward, and advice on local facilities was available - all at very reasonable cost."
