"This was a last minute switch from a place in town and boy, are we happy we did! We felt so secluded but also within 3 minutes of a giant grocery store and shopping area! The room was very spacious and the balcony overlooking the water was excellent. We took advantage of the kayaking. We ate both dinner and breakfast using our kitchen - sponge, dish soap, towel, and dishwasher tablet provided. "

"Entrance to guest house is adjacent to the store on the ground floor. Have to carry luggage up 3 flights of narrow steps- however that is part of the charm of staying in an inn that is hundreds of years old. Concierge was great and gave us good dinner recommendations. Bathroom was modern and bedroom was beautiful. Note: roads in this tourist area are closed midday for car traffic turning this into a pedestrian zone. Park down the street at public parking. "La Pavie is a lovely place to stay in Dinan. Catherine is warm and welcoming, and the whole house has a calm, relaxed feel. Breakfast is excellent - the quality of the produce is great. It is served in the shared dining/breakfast room. Part of the history of the house is reflected in the multiple tea choices which was a really nice touch. The location is perfect. Right in the heart of the old town and opposite a beautiful church. There's a quiet charm to the place that makes it easy to unwind...

"The beach is right on front on the hotel and there is an extremely entertaining rotation of activities depending on if the tide is in or out. I had an excellent meal there with very friendly, helpful service. Quite delicious. There is a view onto the beach and at the seats directly looking out at it binoculars are provided which is a nice touch. I really enjoyed my stay and am looking for an excuse to go there again :) "
