Rooms were acceptable, but very warm even with a fan, we slept with the window wide open and the fan on full. There was a nice coffee machine in the room, which is great as you don’t normally get one on Europe. The bed was comfortable, we slept very well. The shower grout could do with a deep clean. Staff friendly and very close to the station and close to the centre.

Le Tour

Proved to be a good choice for us as it was directly on the route of Le Tour which we had come to see. Comfortable rooms, good restaurant, great breakfast and friendly staff.

Hotel is beside the train station, small room and difficult to cool down in hot weather - but slept well all the same. Super restaurant downstairs with an outside terrace. Food served was extremely good, as was the breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful, in all - enjoyed my stay.

On booking did not realise checking in time was 6.00pm on a Saturday. A little late for us. Room tiny, basic, a little worn and extremely hot with a Small noisy fan. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Easy parking

Hotel closed when we arrived for check-in!

We were quite cross to find when we arrived to check in that the hotel was closed! There was a sign on the door to say that the hours of business were from 1200hrs-1400hrs and 1900hrs to 2200hrs. I didn't see any such information when I made the booking, not on the booking confirmation, which said check-in was from midday, and although the hotel emailed me to confirm the booking and gave the information about the hours of service, I never saw the message until we arrived at 4pm, tired, hot, wanting a shower and a cold drink after a long drive! I would not have booked this hotel had I had that information at the time. It may be given somewhere, but it should be prominently displayed, as I would say it is pretty critical information. It seems extraordinary to me that a hotel should be closed any time during the day. However, we were greeted warmly and there is a nice restaurant. The room was very small, but comfortable. No lift, our room was on the 2nd floor, but we were reallocated to the first floor, as we are not spritely!

L'eau !

Ce fut dommage qu'il n'y ait pas eu d'eau froide mais toujours de l'eau chaude au robinet, légèrement tiède le soir. Cela a été ainsi pendant 3 jours et ce n'est pas appréciable, surtout en été. Ce n'est pas non plus écoresponsable ! Le manque d'ascenseur est gênant également.

Kamer (zeer sober) op 1e verdieping via 'upgrade' bij aankomst. Het hotel gaat 's middags even dicht en het is er 's nachts stil. Ontbijt: geheel in orde. Avondeten: het was extreem druk met twee servicerondes en problemen omtrent de plaatsing; de kwaliteit was hoog. Het parkeren was gemakkelijk maar een vaste plaats komt steeds in gevaar doordat 'tout Saint-Omer' komt lunchen of dineren. Uiteindelijk: een vreemd en goed adres.

Dommage, il n’y a pas de réceptionniste à l’arrivée, juste les clés posées sur une table, l’accès à la chambre se fait par un escalier exigu la chambre est sous les combles, beaucoup de poussière au dessus du meubles de salles de bain. Mais dans l’ensemble c’est plutôt positif.

Hotel très convenable

Hotel très convenable, bien situé, à côté de la gare et à proximité d'un loueur de voitures. La construction est ancienne et les chambres et les salles de bains sont un peu petites, mais pour une ou deux nuits, c'est parfait. Nous avons trouvé le petit déjeuner un peu sommaire, sans doute lié à la période covid. Le personnel est très sympathique et le restaurant de haut niveau.
