Museo Exconvento San Nicolas Tolentino Tours and Activities

I stayed for 2 nights. There was already a line of people trying to get assisted when I got there and only one person to help out, luckily I was 2nd in line so I didn’t take long. I arrived at 1:30pm and check in wasn’t until 3pm but luckily they let me check in early. I didn’t see any bed bugs nor roaches and I inspected the room WELL after reading the reviews. Everything was really clean except for a towel that had nasty brown stains on them. The TV was very outdated and no AC but luckily it was cold at night so we didn’t need it. The showers had really hot water so no complaints there. Now the beds, the beds are SO hard and uncomfortable- mind you I’m not picky at all either hotels but I couldn’t get any nights rest either how hard the bed was. The neighborhood felt safe, we walked around a lot and didn’t encounter any problems. The WiFi was great and fast. We were provided shampoo and soap but no irons or blow dryer, you had to get that from the lobby. They did review my room before I could leave and I didn’t mind it as this avoids getting charges later on that are harder to dispute than actually being there to plead your case. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again just because of how uncomfortable the beds are. Aside from that I had a really good experience

The hotel is nice and comfortable. Its location is premium. The Diaz de los Muertos parade route is right passing the hotel's front door, so we can just walk out of the hotel to watch the beautiful parade instead of lining along the street hours ahead, and drop out for short break back into the hotel any time in between. This maybe benefits for lazy folks to withstand the three hours of parade in a cold night. For non-parade activities, it is just 20 min walk to Palace del Bellas Artes square, where MUNAL and other famous museums are located. The included breakfast is also worthwhile. The dining floor has panoramic view of the city while they are serving you buffet. The traditional hot breakfast is cooked to order. The Americano tastes like specialty coffee. The staff is very attentive just like in a luxury restaurant. I also like they provide 24 hour drinks. Each floor has filtered water dispenser chilled at perfect zero degree, and unlimited non-alcohol free drinks 24 hrs. This especially takes me off the burden that Mexico tap water is not drinkable.
