"Superbe adresse. L’habitation a été rénovée avec goût . Situé en plein cœur d’un village typique, la Calade est une très bonne adresse magnifiquement décorée. Possibilité de se rafraîchir dans la rivière la Cesse a 5 minutes en voiture! Les propriétaires sont très disponibles. A essayer avant que l adresse soit sur tous les guides! "

"Quaint family run establishment in this lovely quiet area of France. Rooms are cozy and comfortable and the husband and wife owners make you feel part of the family. An evening plat du jour meal is available and is always excellent and the local wine is a must. Lots of wonderful walking is on your doorstep as well as around nearby Rouquebrun and the coast is not far away either. Also a perfect stopover on your way to/from the Spanish resorts."

"We visited the Chateau as part of a 10-day vacation to Spain and France and my husband and I both consider this our favorite hotel of the trip! Tucked away in quaint Autignac, the adorable village is easily walkable with beautiful vineyards just a short drive away. "This was a magical stay. I could not recommend this place more. The lady of the chateau Christine was amazing. Recommended what should be a Michelin star restaurant for dinner called the The Drunken Camel. Amazing meal. The chateau makes you feel like a scene out of Downton Abbey. We spent 3 weeks in Italy, Hungry, France and Spain and this was a highlight of our stay. "

"Wonderful and very caring owner. You are 15 min drive from Beziers, beautiful 14 century chateau. One caviar, do not drive large car or minivan, you will not make it to top of the hill. Anything else will be fine"

"Beautiful traditional French house, lovingly cared for by its owner. Large bedroom with plenty of space, good size bathroom with jet bath. A little difficult with no shower attachment on the wall, a minor detail. Breakfast was plentiful, well presented and thoughtfully put together. The host was wonderful and went out of his way to be helpful. There was a language barrier which made the whole stay fun, we used Google translate a lot! There’s a lovely patio area with relaxing chairs and a hot tub...

"I enjoyed my stay, but in a previous comment I mentioned this was felt more of a B&B than a hotel stay. I had a great room, stayed close to the Old City, one of the best breakfasts at any hotel (or B&B) ever. There was another couple there that helped me. The hostess does not speak much English and my French is maybe grade school. The other couple helped with the language and made the stay very good and memerable. And the Honeysuckle at the front door smelled amazing."

"Property was in great condition and modern. Loved the artwork and the aircon!Very secure and safe. Quiet and relaxing surroundings with a lovely common swimming pool. Ants were a problem initially but adding to the pest control discs sorted them out."

"First off, the woman who opened up the villa was extremely rude and only showed my daughter in law around the villa, insisting everyone else should wait outside. Afer 15 minutes, I'd had enough and went in telling this lady we were coming in. Added to this, the smoke alarms throughout the villa did not work, and as there was no way of securing the separate apartments, we had to close the metal shutters at night. With no smoke alarms, this is unbelievably dangerous. The facilities were adequate...

"The room was large & comfortable. The staff were very helpful & even though I arrived early for check in they stored my luggage for me. The hotel is well situated for walking. I would stay there again."
