"House and pool spotlessly clean. House had every thing you needed. The lack of shade around the pool was disappointing one small umbrella is not enough for a family. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain although it was warm so nowhere to sit outside was a sleight problem, and we found the sitting inside very uncomfortable and again not really for a family. The house was in an ideal location and in some amazing countryside"

"We had a fantastic week in Adam’s converted barn in Montcabrier. The property has been adapted to a very high spec, is spacious and well appointed. The terrace affords great views over the surrounding countryside and of the pool in the garden below. Montcabrier itself is a lovely bastide village with a church, medieval fortifications and, crucially, a boulangerie! We spent our week sightseeing (Chateau de Bonaguil a highlight), hiking (there are several great walks clearly marked starting from the village square), visiting vineyards (Ch. du Cedre is quality) and browsing markets (Prayssac on a Friday was the best).We mostly cooked for ourselves with the produce garnered from the local markets, but did treat ourselves to what proved to be a fantastic meal at Le Loup Blanc in St. Martin Le Redon (only 5 minutes away by car).All in all a lovely relaxing week in beautiful surroundings."

"What an amazing place! Bettina and Christophe were fantastic hosts who from beginning to the end of our stay ( and prior to!) went above and beyond to accommodate our every request and answer every query that we had. Excellent communication. A babysitter ( who was excellent ) was found so we could attend an evening wedding reception and Christophe drove us himself in the evening so we could enjoy the reception. The accommodation was well equipped with everything we needed and the play “ barn” a great help entertaining the children when it rained. The pool area is lovely and for peace of mind it is alarmed which was good as we had young children with us .. The children enjoyed the various animals on the estate from cats/rabbits/ducks and even goats! We were also lucky enough to see a wild Boar on our drive home from the wedding reception with Christophe! We took advantage of the full fridge service which made the first evening much easier and the bakery delivery to the door in the morning was also a great service. Bettina's welcome guide to the property answers all the day to day queries a visitor might have regarding their stay and is also a comprehensive guide to local facilities and attractions. During the stay I was able to communicate with Bettina through wats app if I had any small queries and nothing was too much trouble for her.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay again .. thank you Bettina and Christophe. "Nice house in a lovely location. Great internet and small but perfectly adequate pool. Well equipped kitchen except the fridge would be very small for 8, we felt it just coped with 3. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond. Main downside was the mattress in the double bedroom nearest to the kitchen was hopelessly soft and we could not both sleep in it lApart from that, great stay. "

"Maison agréable, jolie piscine. Belle vue. Terrasses agréables. Dommage que la pompe de la piscine ait été bruyante (placée sous la chambre) et que le voisin ait fait des travaux 12h/jour même le dimanche, car le reste de l'environnement très très paisible. Il manque aussi une couverture pour la piscine qui était assez froide pour un milieu d'été (24/25)"

"Lovely stay and sad to leave after a week. Well equipped (especially with kitchenware) and good facilities. Good water pressure for the showers and lots of fans for the hotter days. House felt spacious for our 2 families. Loved eating outside and utilising the games room, BBQ and of course the swimming pool! Everything was clean, tidy and well maintained. Really enjoyed the short walk downhill to the village restaurant. Beautiful surroundings and well connected for exploring Bergerac and the surrounding areas. Highly recommend a stay here! "
