Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne (train station, highway exit, shops, twice-weekly market) is 10 minutes away. The Orelle gondola to the 3 Vallées is also 10 minutes away. Several other ski resorts are within 20 minutes. Many hiking trails start from the house and nearby. Numerous cycling routes with famous climbs (Galibier, etc.).
