It was lovely, beautiful, friendly, quiet, and comfortable here. Guests are in rooms upstairs in a couple's new home. The house is part of a new development with large back yards. There is even a rooster next door. The couple presents a very nice continental breakfast of fresh, delicious breads and crescents, home made jam and hot tea or coffee or chocolate. The couple is very warm and welcoming. We couldn't have had a better time. Oh, they gave us a booklet of local sites and restaurants with their favorites pointed out, pointed out to us how the parking in town works, and gave us ideas of other sites to see nearby. We had a very nice time here!
A lovely place to stay. Very handy 30 minute safe and pleasant walk into Bayeux. A lovely town with history all around you. A must is to go and see the Bayeux tapestry.
Nellie and Christophe are lovely people and so helpful, they can’t do enough for you. My wife and I would most definectly advise to stay here, also a big plus your car here and private parking is very good.
modernes Haus in guter ruhiger Lage in einem Vorort von Bayeux mit sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Eigentümern; Zimmer gut ausgestattet; reichhaltiges Frühstück
Very nice B&B. Not having a car at my disposal, it's quite far from the center of Bayeux on foot but the very friendly lady and her husband drove me every day to town and made everything easy for me. Highly recommend! Max from Switzerland
Des gens charmants qui vous accueillent avec générosité et bienveillance. De jolies chambres dans une belle maison au calme à deux pas de Bayeux. Parfait pour visiter cette belle région. Joseph et Anne-Claire
Owners are a great couple and made us feel family. Very helpful with a nice breakfast each morning. It is in a quiet neighborhood a pleasant walk (a mile?) from downtown. Their friendliness and helpfulness made this a great stay. Bayeux is a perfect place to base your Normandy vacation because it is close to the D-Day beaches, it has the Tapestry museum, is within a manageable drive to Mon St. Michel and it is not Caen! Traffic is manageable in Bayeux and most of the people either speak English or at least try to communicate. Caen is bigger, busier and fewer people speak English or even wish to try to communicate. We really liked Bayeux and many of the tours were cheaper from here.
Wonderful stay. Very generous and caring hosts. Comfortable family house and the hosts could not have been more helpful in planning our time spent in Normandy. Highly recommended!
