Stayed in this apartment during the Women's Euro tournament. Great location for accessing Basel - close to transit, a train station. Supermarkets very close by. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Larger than expected. Kitchen was well equipped. Would recommend staying here.

Dismal stay

Wrong code provided for lockbox!! No hot water at 8pm. Property was worn out, needed renovation 30+ years ago. Musty/mildewy smell. Will make me shy away from VRBO properties in the future.

I cannot comment on the property itself. We arrived with no check in information despite trying to contact the owner by email and phone. It eventually came 5 hrs after check in time, by which time we had been forced to book into a local hotel. No apology from the host. I got my money refunded but was still 200 euros out of pocket.

While the area it’s in is a series of apartment flat complexes, this is a better place to stay than busy Basel. Great place if you are passing through, Owner is good with communication. That it had a washer and dryer(!) made it perfect for our needs.
