"Chateau is beautiful and in a very peaceful spot. I would describe it as 'shabby chic' as there are areas where money could be spent. However it is lovely and features such as the sweeping staircase, chandelier's and furniture look gorgeous. Town is only 4 miles away with a range of restaurants. Continental breakfast was great and plentiful. Only met 1 member of staff at breakfast but she was lovely and gave us some of the history of the chateau. "Nice hotel/conference centre, it was quite quiet on our visit and we barely saw anyone else which was strange. My biggest complaint was that the WiFi (and hence smart tv) did not work in the room, and we were told that was just how it was. Dog friendly and there is a great public open space on the other side of the road where dogs can be exercised. Unfortunately we could not use the restaurant because a wedding party was using it. "Really great find opposite the Chateaux, really central, Christophe told us where we could park the car for free which is a bonus. A great place to go is the indoor market down by the river, you can choose your cheese , breads and wine and have a great lunch there. Opposite the hotel over the river is a rooftop bar which amazing views. We will be going back Worth while having the breakfast for only 11euros "
