"The place was easy to find. Very spacious and well equipped. In a lovely quiet setting with views of the woods and mountains. Bakery was 5 mins walk away. Other small shops were in a similar location, providing basic items. Many signposted walks near by. We were very impressed with the surrounding areas and would happily stay in the accommodation again."

"The owners of L'Ajasserie in Orcival are just wonderful! Claude and Rosi made our stay so pleasant and serve a wonderful dinner, Rosi's cuisine. Orcival is a lovely small town with an amazing Romanesque church, the prettiest wee saw. If you want an authentic Auvergne experience, not a cookie-cutter hotel experience, I would highly recommend L'Ajasserie d'Orcival. The room was spacious and clean and very comfortable. Would love to return!"

"The hotel section (there's a connected restaurant across the road) was tidy, modern, warm and well decorated. We had booked a 'mountain view' room, but were given a lake view room at no extra cost, and which saved us an extra flight of stairs to carry bags. The manager, who greeted us, was very friendly, helpful, and even insisted on helping us with one of our bags going upstairs. We ate a couple of times in the restaurant opposite that's associated with the hotel. Food was excellent both...
