Mas in Provence Occitane, near the Ardèche and Aiguèze Gorges

We are renting out our charming 18th-century farmhouse located at the border of the Gard, Ardèche, and Vaucluse departments, 2 km from Aiguèze, one of the most beautiful medieval villages in France.

Set in the heart of a very large, landscaped garden spanning 5,700 m², the farmhouse features 5 air-conditioned bedrooms, including 2 on the ground floor with a shower room and a bathroom, and 3 others upstairs, one of which is a master suite with an en suite bathroom. A large, modern, fully equipped kitchen with a table that seats 10 people. It opens onto a spacious, warm, and cosy living room, which is also air-conditioned. On the ground floor behind the house, you’ll find a pantry with a second refrigerator, an ice maker, and a dryer.

Outside, you can enjoy large terraces, outdoor furniture, and a splendid view of the landscaped garden featuring olive trees, numerous fruit trees, and grapevines. Facing due south, the farmhouse overlooks a vast lawn and a 150-square-meter teak deck bordering a 15-meter-by-5-meter swimming pool. You’ll have access to seven ultra-comfortable lounge chairs, deck chairs, and garden armchairs. A very large pergola shelters an outdoor table that seats 10, where you can enjoy the shade and cool air, as well as the view of the garden and vineyards.

Mountain bikes will also be available. A 1-km walk will take you to a large tree-top adventure course set in lush, cool greenery; 2 km away, you can go hiking on the GR4 trail, go canoeing, or relax on a beach along the Ardèche River.

A 600-meter walk will take you to an excellent bakery, a post office, a café-restaurant, a small shop selling homemade jams, and a market on Tuesday mornings.
