"Quaint older home in quiet neighborhood a short drive from downtown. The host was very available and eager to please. We brought our dogs, who were welcomed, not just tolerated. There is a fully fenced backyard. Cloths washer, dryer and laundry soap for free. Host provided a couple beers, bottled water, people and dog treats. There is a park across the street. "I emailed the hotel before my stay and they responded right away. I wanted to be sure our pet was not a surprise. They responded a couple of times, once to let me know about the details around pets, and secondly about parking. The hotel has no parking of gheir own. They use city parking, for a fee. That was a surprise, as it was not well advertised on Hotel.com site. I didn't go back to checked to see if it was there, but it is $18+ per night ($18 to city, or $25 through the hotel if you want multiple reentry) So it would be a consideration if my decision came down between two comparable properties. The reception staff was very efficient, polite and friendly. The hostess/server at the breakfast was very helpful, polite and friendly. They went out of their way to make us fell welcome with a pet. The room was generally clean, but could have been a little better. This was a nice hotel, all considered I'd stay there again."
