  • This is just one of many spectacular views from a walk entitled "Pas Du Loup". We started at Capluc, a cross on a peak above Le Rozier and did the entire circuit. It's still comfortably in my top ten all time great walks. If you suffer acrophobia it's one to be avoided. The area is also something of a mecca for rock climbers. The whole Goreg du Tarn is a special place for me because the tourist buses don't go there and it's reputedly the deepest gorge in Europe.

Emplacement calme

En plein mois d'Aout cet hotel nous a étonné par le calme de sa terrasse où nous avons pris le repas du soir. Parking au bord de la route mais avec certaines places a l'ombre. Les repas ne sont pas a la hauteur et du prix et de ce qui est annoncé (cuisine régionale à revoir surtout la brandade -ou plutot purée-) Sinon bon rapport qualité prix pour l'hotel.

à la fin de notre randonnée à14h 00 nous avons attendu jusqu'à 16 h l'ouverture de l'accueil La chambre n'était pas très propre. Le repas du soir était cher pour une qualité médiocre et la serveuse pas à la hauteur de sa tâche . Le seul point positif est l'accompagnement en voiture pour rejoindre les départs de bus en centre ville

Hôtel de bord de route. Chambre correcte mais style bungalows alignés, porte et fenêtre donnant du même côté donc pas d'intimité. Restaurant à éviter.

Roadside hotel for one night only

The bedrooms at this hotel are in a separate single-storey annex which is a bit basic. Although the en-suite was OK the room was not very clean and in particular the floor was linoleum which was dirty - you walked straight into it from outside so this was not really surprising. There should be carpets or at least rugs. In addition the breakfast was awful - stale bread and sour milk.

Peux mieux faire.

Jeune couple en weekend pour la saint-valentin. Nous avons fait une escale à la corniche des Cévennes le temps d'une nuit. Nous y avons, dîner, dormi et nous avons pris le petit déjeuner le lendemain matin. En bref, un séjour agréable, mais quelques point clairement à revoir. Ps: Le fait que le responsable rentre dans la chambre, sans prévenir pendant que nous sommes au restaurant de l'hôtel, n'à pas été apprécié ( bien que cela partait d'une bonne intention puisque nous n'arrivions pas à faire fonctionner le radiateur )

A good hotel in a superb setting.

This hotel is part of the Logis chain and is situated by the river on the road out of town in the direction of Florac. The rooms are small but completely adequate with a comfortable bed and a clean bright bathroom. The hotel is a short walk from the town centre. The hotel restaurant serves good reasonably priced meals and has a good wine list.
