"Asked within allowed timeframe to change from 2 nights to 1 night, which was approved by manager, in a written email response. We only slept there 1 night and checked out in the morning. However, upon check in, we were charged for 2 nights, despite said approval. There was no reasoning with the manager, she insisted that we had no right for a refund because I had said we would leave in the evening, even though we left in the morning, and despite teh fact she had previously approved the booking...

"For a basic budget hotel this was like a private room in a youth hostel or one down from a Travelodge. The lines was clean as was the room but there was no comfort. The rooms felt claustrophobic and old and smelled of ingrained smoking. No one, however, was smoking in the property and for a cheap basic place to stay it was good value. There is no reception after 9pm but an auto check in machine which looked quite innovative. The bathroom was compact but served it’s purpose but was a bit smelly...

"Very handy as it’s just off the Nantes Rocarde. And quiet because it’s in the grounds of an old chateau. 3rd time we’ve stopped here. Pretty basic with a little kitchen. Very friendly staff. Not much within walking distance except a Routier restaurant which was great and open in the evenings in the week. 4 course simple meal with wine and coffee for 12.40€!! Lots of other restaurants and a huge Leclerc in the Atlantis shopping centre 5 minutes car ride away."
