Cedar Reef Condo.
Very nice condo.. Excellent views. Super clean. Very quiet. Everything worked. Other guests and residents were all very friendly, including the gate staff. The grounds were nicely manicured. Easy access to the beach area.Would certainly recommend this property.

50th Anniversary Celebration
The place is everything we had hoped for. I had made the reservation without my wife's knowledge that we were getting away for our 50th. I knew she loved to walk the beach with the waves lapping up on her feet and this Harbor Island setting was perfect. She is very particular about where she stays and the condo provided everything as advertised and could not have been more perfect for the two of us. We look forward to revisiting soon.

Great Place, lots of noise
Our stay was great! Read the other reviews, they are honest about the REALLY loud sounds from upstairs. the unit next door is also under renovation. We dealt with loud tile sawing, banging, and construction noises at all hours of the day. This unit is GREAT! Totally as described, clean, and comfortable. Beach was awesome.

Perfect Getaway
This property was the perfect place for my solo vacation! Everything was just as described in the listing and they provided everything you need for a comfortable stay! Harbor Island is beautiful and not over crowded. Would definitely recommend, I can’t wait to make it back again!

Perfect Getaway
Perfect place to not care about time, leave emails unopened, and just take a breather. Quiet and quaint with the ocean and a pool available with a short walk. A bunny came to visit every night and we loved walking on the beach and looking at the sea turtle nests. We will be back.

Peaceful Getaway
This is the second time we have stayed in this lovely condo. It has everything we need to cook in. It also has a beautiful view and an easy walk to the quite beach. Tasteful decorations and the host has taken the time to make your stay as easy as possible. We love the extra length deck and its perfect for sitting outisde to read or dine. Great community and it is very quiet and peaceful.

King bed is unbelievably uncomfortable, mushy and overused. Needs replacement. Slept on sofa. Master bath is extremely tiny. We used master bath only for showers. First floor location is an issue. We were woken 3 nights in a row at 5 am by pounding of floor upstairs: kids running up and down. Plus you can hear conversations through out the night - thin walls. I wanted to leave after 2 nights of misery but had obligations that prevented us. Care package on arrival had two sets of ear plugs. Was this supplied to reduce noise levels from people above and on sides? 1/4+ mile walk over boardwalk to get to beach. This is marketed as beach front but you are so far from beach. Make sure you are ok with that. I never cooked or washed clothes in unit so I have no idea about kitchen/laundry.

Great getaway
Beautiful villa. Had everything we needed. Close to good restaurants. Close to Beaufort. Loved the porch facing the ocean. Our only problem came the day before we left. Family with toddler rented villa above us. Every time the toddler ran across the floor, it sounded like the roof was going to collapse. Thank goodness we left the next morning. But the villa was amazing. We would definitely go again.

PERFECT!
This condo was exactly as described and absolutely perfect for a quiet weekend getaway. Clean, comfortable, well stocked, and just a stone's throw from the ocean. The only time we heard neighbors was if they were out on their balcony and we were out on ours. We loved the huge balcony/deck, btw, and the view was gorgeous. We highly recommend, and we'll be staying here again.

Quiet spot on the water
We wanted a vacation rental for 2 adults right on the water. This one really fit the bill, with a short walk over sand dunes leading to the beach. The area was pretty quiet in January, though would probably have more activity like bike and kayak rentals in the warmer seasons. We explored nearby towns and enjoyed learning about the history of the Lowcountry. For hiking and beach walking there were many good option in the area, including Hunting Island State Park, Port Royal, and Fort Fremont.

Peaceful Getaway
This property was just as described and very clean. We had everything we needed for the week and prepared most of our meals at the condo. The view is pretty, especially at sunrise! We enjoyed walking on the beach every day. We saw lots of shore birds and also saw dolphins, turtles, frogs and one alligator. We also enjoyed visiting Hunting Island State Park which is very close by. Perfect getaway for a couple!

Great place for a couple’s get away!
It was everything you could ask for, clean, beautifully decorated, very well appointed kitchen with everything you could need. The outside balcony was also very nice. Owner was very friendly and helpful. We hope to go back there again.

Very nice digs!
The property is first rate! Very well appointed, clean and well supplied with everything you need. Good wifi and cable TV. There is a nice pool and tennis courts if you are interested. Our only complaint was the mosquitoes. If you don't mind fogging your self with poison they aren't a problem. Easy access to the beach. Plenty of things to do and see nearby. If you are interested in history, there are tons of historical sites nearby.. Forest Gump was filmed in nearby Beaufort. A fun day can be spent visiting Forest Gump Filming locations. We would highly recommend this condo for a couple or family

Excellent Short Vacation
Very pretty, clean, absolutely comfortable bed and short walk to the beach. Love the porch space. The condo has everything you need and more. This is our second year staying at this site, as a birthday gift from my husband. Would love to return again next year.

This place was truly awesome. We only stayed two nights but the unit was very well furnished and had everything we needed. It is a short boardwalk to a gorgeous beach. The beach was not over crowded and the location was quiet. We would definitely rent this place again for a longer stay.

The Perfect Escape
The perfect venue to unplug and reconnect. Online photos showed the property like it was that morning. Everything needed for a Beach stay was available. We felt like the first visitors to a new home. Everything was spotless! Definitely recommending to family and friends!

Disappointing!
The unit is nice, but icemaker did not work. A big problem for the beach. It is a 600 foot walk to the beach, at least, and the tide took the water out another 800 feet for most of the day. The king size bed is not at all comfortable - like sleeping in jello. And the bathroom is so small you hit your head on the door when attempting to use the toilet. We headed a home a day early because the bed was so bad.

We wish we could have stayed longer!
This condo was 100% perfect for us. The location was outstanding: just over the dunes from the shore with a 2 minute walk on the boardwalk that only helped build anticipation for the beautiful beach. We loved the double deck for reading and coffee. The condo was impeccably clean and stocked. And Harbor Island itself gave us the quiet area we wanted while still an easy drive to a more commercially developed area for shopping and restaurants, though we cooked most of our meals in the condo. Nadine (the owner) was very responsive to our questions and we very much appreciate her hospitality. We will without question choose to stay here again. Thank you, Nadine!

My husband and I simply loved this beautiful condo. The view from the deck was gorgeous and it's a short walk to the beach via a wooden beach access. Beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels were provided. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to feel at home. There was even an alligator in the water as we passed over the beach access. Lots of turtles, frogs and even a friendly little raccoon that came out at night. Make sure to take some bug spray if you go out late in the evening as the mosquitos were quite active. Perfect place to stay and relax. We will definitely be returning.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this little condo. It had everything we needed already there. We loved walking off the porch and right onto the boardwalk to the beach. It made it so convenient with a baby not having to tote everything so far. The walk to the beach is a short walk. Would definitely stay again!

Relaxing Getaway
The villa was nice - loved the porch. Liked being close to the beach and right at the boardwalk. Beach wasn't crowded at all. It was a peaceful, relaxing time. Some communication problem with check in and at the gate , but it was worked out with a phone call.

Not room enough for 4, as advertised.
This may be nature front, but it should not be called ocean front, as it is far enough away to not even hear the ocean. The boardwalk to the ocean is over 2 football fields long, which would be great for a couple walking the beach, but was super difficult for a family traveling with a small child to carry all of the sand toys and cooler and umbrellas. We were very sad to not be able to see or hear the ocean from the condo. Also, I was depending on a fold out couch for the 6 year old kiddo to sleep on (or myself once she would inevitably crawl in with us in a strange place), but we were met with reclining couches which did not in fact fold out. Even that would have worked if there weren’t metal bars between the seats to ensure neither or us ever got a good night’s rest. The tub drain was broken when we got there, in separate pieces on the side of the tub, so a good soaking bath was a no go for the kiddo, as well. In all, if you’re a childless couple looking to relax (but not hear the ocean), this would have been a nice week. With a child or children in tow, I would definitely not recommend this particular condo. I came home more tired and full of angst than when I left.

We had everything we needed. The owner has thought of everything. Highly recommend. Take some bug spray with you if you want to enjoy the deck or the beach in the evening. Otherwise, pack your swimsuit and toothbrush. Everything else is there.
