"We were very excited to stay here. Beautiful property, on the beach, a little hard to find, limited parking spaces… but the pool area was gorgeous. Check in was a wait. They don’t start until 4 pm and we arrived about 3:45 and got in line a bit hungry, thought we’d grab a quick pre dinner snack from the hotel market but it closed at 4 pm. So it felt like two strikes right off. Very clean and inviting room. However our patio with a very nice ocean front view had black mold on the concrete and walls. It was a substantial amount. We couldn’t go out and enjoy it although we paid the extra to do so….. We contacted the staff, spoke with the concierge manager who offered to refund our parking cost($20.00 a day) and what did that have to do with this problem of mold on our patio? They also offered us Marriot Bonvoy points equal to a whopping $149.00) and in order to claim that we had to sign up… Over all. For such a lovely place, we will not return and we do not recommend it. Go for a less expensive location with not so much “posh” And yes, we ended up with allergy symptoms, which we don’t have , headaches, coughs, sneezing, etc. A follow up with our doctor and we are suffering from exposure to mold…."

"Hotel was perfect. There were three pools and one was totally for children. One definitely was it an adult pool. Hot tubs, Tiki bar, great marketplace, great food couldn’t ask for anything more."

"We found the hotel was clean and well maintained but a little dated. Breakfast was not that great so we stopped and got breakfast on the road. It is a great value. A great place to stay and close to the beach and also close to bike rentals."

"They have no in person check-in so you expect a code to get in the room on the day of arrival. However, in my case, and that was two weeks in a row they did not send the code because I booked the room through Expedia and apparently Expedia did not facilitate the transfer of funds so I had to make a few phone calls before I would get the code. The Internet is great and the room is clean, although the window is facing the corridor, so you have to keep it covered. The garbage container is at the bottom of the stairs, which is an extremely bad idea because during the summer you're gonna have a stench. And the staff does not empty the garbage in the room during your stay. So, it is an OK , affordable hotel with great location for families on a tight budget whatever tight may mean these days."

"The exhaust vent in the hallway on the fourth floor is extremely noisy! Handheld shower handle was a low quality product. The omlets for breakfast were not very good. Enjoyed the automated brewed coffee in the breakfast area, it was very good. However, the coffee served in the lobby was terrible. The desk clerk said I am not eligible for IHG points since I made my reservation through Expedia."
