"Stopped off in Laon on a trip to Switzerland. The hotel is located in the middle of town right next to the cathedral with an attractive square in front. A lovely stay with a very nice meal on the terrace in the evening. A very nice breakfast personally served. We parked in a public car park a 5 minute walk away. "

"Excellent location in Laon. Husband and wife staff were extremely friendly and helpfull. We'd hoped to dine on site for our evening meal. Their restaurant was closed and they found us an alternative restaurant and made a dinner reservation for us. I was recovering from a cold and the owner prepared me a hot lemon honey and ginger drink to have before I went to bed. Even made me one the following morning. To some the hotel may feel dated, but out group of 8 loved the sense of history the hotel...

"Fint hotell men byn vad deppig. Hotellets egen restaurang var nybyggd och fräsch men inte bra mat. Kul med tennisbana på hotellets gård och att det gick att ladda elbil utan extra kostnad. "

"This is our go to stop-over on our way back from a second home in the French Alps. The hotel is a Heritage Building at the heart of the old walled town which sits high above the city of Laon. There is plentiful parking in close proximity and a variety of interesting restaurants. Laon Cathedral is amongst the finest in France and is just 5 minutes walk. Excellent and cost effective breakfast not to be missed. We will be returning quite soon!"

"We only stayed for one night at this gorgeous hotel. It’s a stunning building which has obviously had a lot of money, time and effort put into it. The surrounding area is quiet and rural. Our room was compact but beautifully decorated in a traditional french style. We ate in the hotel on the evening, the service and food were lovely. Unfortunately due to an early start we were unable to have breakfast. "
