We asked the front desk gentleman to call us a taxi (we were staying in the hotel the following Sunday, however we arrived the Sunday prior and needed assistance hiring a taxi)and he was rude, asking why we traveled to France when we did not speak any French. I expect this type of comment in Paris, maybe, but not outside the city in a town where people frequent for hiking and skiing. "

"The location could not have been better. We could leave our cars parked and walk around Saint Gervais easily for the tramway, restaurants, shopping, everything. Bruno gave us excellent tips to help our stay go smoothly especially when we drove to Chamonix. The apartment was large, clean, with lovely views of the mountains. "
