You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.
Very large property, ideal for large groups seeking tranquility
The Domaine de la Clauzade is able to accommodate groups of 2 to 25 people by combining the two buildings intended for accommodation. A reception hall is also available on site. It can seat 40 people at the table. You will find below the description of the two accommodation buildings as well as the room and its annexes.
1) Large capacity cottage
In one of the old barns of the Estate, a cottage was renovated in 2017. It is a gite of great comfort labeled "furnished with 4-star tourism" and which meets the standards of the label "Tourism and handicap" for motor disabilities (first floor only), visual, hearing and mental.
The building is composed on the ground floor of an independent bedroom (which can be rented with the rest of the cottage or independently) with its own bathroom, an open kitchen and a large dining room / living room equipped in particular a wood stove, a large screen TV and an upright piano (tuned). Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The attic is also furnished with a large games room and a bedroom.
So the cottage has a capacity of 8 to 14 people depending on whether or not you rent the independent room downstairs. There is also a large terrace not overlooked (magnificent view of the countryside, facing sunset) accessible from the kitchen and the dining room.
2) Guest house
This second gite is actually the guest house in which our 4 guest rooms are located and which we occasionally offer for rental in "gite" version. It is thus made up of the 4 bedrooms which you can see the detailed description here, to which is added the kitchen / dining room.
Depending on the composition of the rooms, the cottage can accommodate up to 12 people but it is optimal for a maximum of 10 people considering the size of the dining room, if rented alone.
3) Reception building
This third building was renovated at the end of 2018, it will be accessible from April 2019. It is also an old barn of the Estate. Part of this building is not accessible to the public because it is used as a place to store equipment. For the public part, you will have access to:
* A 54 m2 reception room with tables and chairs available for up to 40 people. The room has a large bay window exploded to the west and overlooking an uninhabited valley (sunset view). With its exposed stone wall, the authenticity of this old barn has been preserved.
* A 22 m2 HACPP professional kitchen with all the necessary equipment, to cook yourself or to accommodate a caterer
* A living room of 18 m2 that can be used at your convenience as a mini meeting room, a place to install young children during the party, a relaxation area, aperitif or coffee ... in short, a place suitable for all your desires!
* A sanitary area
* A 30 m2 terrace with west-facing view, and with an outdoor spa for 3 people (accessible with supplement or not depending on your rental formula)
All of these spaces meet PMR accessibility standards
4) Outdoor spaces
The entire park of the Estate (2.3 ha) has been laid out to make your stay as pleasant and Zen as possible. It is organized around several areas.
* A large parking lot at the entrance of the domain
* An area reserved for accommodation and catering
* A fish pond of 5,000 m2, around which you can fish, walk or land to watch wild ducks, herons or kingfishers pass by.
* A wooded meadow where jays, magpies, chickadees, woodpecker squirrels, woodpeckers, buzzards and sometimes even deer pass by. A living wicker hut lets you enjoy it all in the shade.
* A children's play area with a swing
* A pétanque court
* An orchard
* A large vegetable garden
* Undeveloped, wilder areas to let plants and animals live as they please
It's up to you to choose where you will put the deckchairs available to you! But whichever place you choose, you will only see nature since no other dwelling than ours is located nearby!
