Great stop over

Excellently placed hotel. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was simple but clean. The bed was very comfortable. A great place for a one night stop over.

The reception team and the breakfast were excellent...many thanks to all of them. However, I can’t say the same for housekeeping. Even though the check-out time is 12:00, from around 8:30–9:00 a.m. onwards they were extremely noisy, almost as if they deliberately wanted everyone to wake up. In fact, there was a level of intrusion where they knocked on the door and then immediately opened it and entered the room. In the room next door, our son wasn’t feeling well, so we needed to check out around 11:00, but the noise from the housekeeping team continued nonstop.

This hotel needs a good renovation. The bathroom tiles were disgusting. I wore my shoes everywhere. The small window has no blackout. I felt people could see you sleeping. And, the light from outside was coming through. I barely slept. The sheets had stains and hair. I had to change rooms because the door lock didn't work. The room smelled. Just an uncomfortable stay.

Bij aankomst werd ik direct te woord gestaan. Helaas spreek ik nauwelijks Frans en de enorm vriendelijke jonge dame niets dan Frans. Probleem werd direct opgelost door een andere, even zo vriendelijke dame te roepen en zij sprak Engels. De kamer was eenvoudig (koste ook heel weinig) schoon en goed voor een nacht maar vooral de badkamer was aan renovatie toe. Het was heel fijn dat in dit hotel ook een dinner te krijgen is voor ook een meer dan schappelijk bedrag. Voor nog geen €18 eet je hier tot je rollend de deur uit gaat. Ook hier was de medewerkster die Engels sprak en gaf uitleg over alle gangen met het advies zoveel mogelijk van de saladebar en het onuitputtelijke desert buffet te gebruiken. Kortom, Heel goedkoop en eenvoudig maar voldoende en schoon. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Wat verouderde badkamer. Ik zou hier zeker nog eens stoppen.
