"This is our second stay at this hotel. The reception staff, bar staff, kitchen staff and cleaners are all so friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is good with decent choice. We enjoy the pool the most, a little paddling section for our little one. The beach and local town is just a bike ride with lots of cycle paths which makes it fun and safe. There is a large playground half way down toward the beach which we discovered this time. We will come back again!"

"Le Flobart is a jewel of a find. Perfect, low-key and characterful. Very clean and comfortable. Windows of our room opened-out to the road below pleasantly busy with the passing locals and to a view of the sea, including the remains of the sea-fort ruins. Check-in and check-out were effortless. The long, wide and empty sandy beach is literally just across the street. We missed enjoying Le Flobart's cuisine this time, but look forward to trying it next time. "Had a lovely stay with my partner and nearly one year old baby. Prior to arrival we had paid for parking and the "Baby kit". There was delayed communication about where to park, but it was resolved just in time before we reached Evancy. When we checked-in we immediately saw the "Baby kit" wasn't in the room so we had to go down to tell reception - luckily staff was on hand to sort it out quickly. Once we settled in, the stay was great! A note though, the Expedia listing for this property...

"We really enjoyed our trip to Berck and whilst the stay in Dormio was lovely we do have some suggestions for improvement. Firstly, the toilets for no sink, hence we had to go to the bathroom to wash our hands. Not great for hygiene! Second, the place could have been cleaner. The carpet looked worn and the floor needed a good mop. Finally, we had expected to be able to do our laundry, as we discovered this was not an option. All in all the stay was comfortable, rooms spacious and surrounding areas lovely! The kids loved the pool, and all in all really enjoyed our holiday in this part of France. If the resort could be improved a little, then it would be awesome!"

"Room was small but clean. There was space to put a suitcase by the bed but no room for a chair in the room. In our room (412) the wash basin was actually in the shower cubicle which was strange but OK apart from getting wet feet if someone had recently had a shower. Small details like tea and coffee were provided (and paper cups) but nothing to stir with. The WiFi code was not provided in the room so I went down to reception to ask whether there was wifi and the information was on the wall at reception but the receptionist hadn't mentioned it when we checked in. Parking was close by in an underground car park - getting in was slightly hairy in a biggish car but all was well. It felt fairly basic but it was very well located and our room was quiet, it was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was good so we were satisfied!"

"Fabulous old school French hotel with a fantastic restaurant and welcoming staff. Secure parking as well if you’re travelling with a car full of possessions. We loved our stay and the fantastic meal in the evening topped it off. My only slight criticism was I thought the breakfast was slightly underwhelming but that’s being me really nitpicking. We will return."
