Interlude in Provence

We needed a no agenda break in our ten week drive around Italy and France. This was a perfect place. A few minutes walk to the sea with trails along the coast, short drives from your dedicated parking space to stores and other small businesses. Communication with the owner was excellent. And he even called from Senegal where he was on vacation. His representative, Mme Pavillard, was kind, helpful and accommodating, looking after us even when her husband was in the hospital. The only negatives are the narrow steep stairs to the loft bedroom with it's very low ceiling beams. Watch your head. We highly recommend this apartment.

Pros: location is fantastic, close to the beach and shops. View is great. Plates/cutlery is good, and the bathroom is new. Free easy onsite parking is supplied. Host is responsive to messages directly through watsapp. Cons: only 1 small fan, which is not enough in the heat especially in the front room - we had to purchase another. Lists a BBQ, but there is none. Had to search around for the fuse box to turn the electricty on. Booked the place for four nights and they only supplied 1 roll of toilet paper. Host asks for an extra €30 cleaning fee which is not advertised in the initail listing or in the cost breakdown. No linens supplied, which is highly inconvenient if you have flown into France.

Klein maar gezellig apartement op mooie locatie dichtbij zee en dorp

Pros: De locatie dichtbij zee, het uitzicht en de mooie omgeving Cons: het appartement is klein en eenvoudig ingericht, wel echt voor twee personen naar onze mening, de tweede slaapruimte is echt te klein. De eindschoonmaak bleek niet inbegrepen en zou door de huurders moeten gebeuren, maar dat wordt niet echt goed bijgehouden, bleek al bij onze aankomst. Het beddegoed (dekens, matras) kan ook beter.
