"We had a wonderful week. Maria and her husband are fantastic hosts. Throughout the week they checked everything was alright and asked if we needed anything. The breakfasts that Maria delivered every day were fabulous, plentiful and freshly prepared. We had freshly prepared tarts, fruit, homemade jams etc. The house is perfect for two, set in beautiful gardens, with the use of a small swimming pool.We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we visited the same area in the future. "The room was clean and simple, as a hermitage should be. But extremely comfortable and stylish. The staff were superb, both helpful/attentive and informed about the setting. The restaurants on site are wonderful and the options in the village are plentiful and well run. The highlight above all is the access to the Abbey. Private and at night. Wow."
