"Incredible idyllic home set on ten beautiful acres. The hostess was incredibly accommodating, friendly and welcoming. The charming family who renovated this 800 year old mini castle spent five years renovating, and it shows. We loved every minute of our visit and we would make a point of returning. Bravo! Mercy!"

The atmosphere was very warm and family-like, especially during dinner, which is available on request and felt more like a shared meal among friends than a restaurant experience. " Tout était au top, tel qu'on pouvait l'espérer, sans parler de l'amabilité de la patronne à qui nous avons toutefois signalé qu'une adresse plus complète sur le site Hotels.com aurait permis à notre GPS de nous faire arriver plus rapidement."

"After reading a bad review, we were unsure whether to book but it was unwarranted because our stay was wonderful! The host was welcoming, helping us with a restaurant booking nearby. The room was the largest we have stayed in since travelling around France. It said online it had air conditioning but it had a fan which was sufficient as the large room was very cool."

"L'hôtellerie est un vrai métier et c'est exactement ce que nous n'avons pas trouvé au Relais de la Poste à GOURDON. Le chauffage n'avait pas été enclenché de façon à ce que l'on rentre dans une chambre douillette. Certes il y a une télécommande mais encore faut-il prendre possession de la chambre quelques heures avant d'y dormir. Dans la salle de bains chauffage également au moyen d'une télécommande, sans notice et qui a priori fonctionne en minuterie. Donc mieux vaut se lever au petit matin...

"The host was so welcoming. He and his wife made us feel right at home. We immediately felt comfortable and like we weren’t just guests in their home but long time friends. Their hospitality was so appreciated. And the home made breads, yogurt, and preserves didn’t hurt either!! 😉 Highly recommend!"
