"This was our first trip to Bordeaux and we wanted to stay somewhere unique and away from the hustle and bustle of the main district. La Course Maison was the perfect place with amazing staff who were so helpful and a wonderful walkable location. Close to everything and also tucked away from the busy shopping area. "This property exceeded our expectations. It is located centrally to the Bordeaux city center, easily walkable to a number of prime locations. The manager was a valuable resource who recommended restaurants and even made reservations for us. Would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in Bordeaux. "

"Stayed for 3 nights. There are pluses, but also minuses. Pluses: Beautiful area. Close to Bordeaux and Saint Emilion. Large rooms, great showers and toilets. There is a kettle in the room. In front of the room is a small terrace with a table and 2 chairs. Breakfast is included in the price. Breakfast is very good if it is covered by a woman. At our request, she even covered us one hour earlier due to our early check-out, (many thanks to her). When breakfast covered a man, it was much worse....

"Initial impression down an ordinary street in a built up suburb was not great, but once inside the quirky, bohemian accommodation we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was comfortable and Laurence, our host, was very friendly. She gave us recommendations for dinner and tips on getting into Bordeaux via tram. Breakfast was delicious and Laurence chatted easily with us. "

"Warm welcome from Estelle with helpful guidance for local points of interest and restaurants. Shower was very good with hot water operating without any wait time. Breakfast was all of good quality, home made approach with apples pick from her tree each morning, and cooked eggs from her free range hens were offered. Very nice secure countryside house."

"A beautiful place and just right for our overnight stay. The owner is very friendly and helpful and his English is very good. The room is very comfortable and the dual aspect windows overlook some lovely countryside. Breakfast was delightful-all laid out in a breakfast room with homemade jams etc to go with the french bread and croissants. We didn’t get chance to even see the pool as the weather was cool but we hope to visit again and try it out!"
