"Hotel is clean and bed is comfortble, if decor is slightly shabby. It is fine for an overnight stay when on a journey. Handy for Les Sables d'Olonne which is a nice port with good restaurants. We arrived late so the restaurant was closed but the hotel has a late check in which is useful."

"Quiet little bungalows with aircon, confortable beds and private bathroom. There are tables and seats on the terrasse in front of each room, very nice for lunch outside. The room was basic but quite spacious and had everything we needed as we stay 3 nights to visit Puy du Fou (5 min by car). Very convenient to get home quickly after the night shows free on site parking. "Great property, in the center of a small medieval town with a great terrace overlooking the river and the castle. Hotel rooms are comfortable and quiet. Breakfast and brunch are great and food is of good quality. People are friendly They seemed to be a little understaffed one evening at the restaurant/bar but all was overall great!"

"Our Host and Hostess were delightful. Our surroundings beautiful! Both the interior and exterior memorable! The yard and pool area landscaped beautifully. Breakfast, a selection of fresh fruits, fresh croissants, juice, yogurt, and coffee or tea. The views stunning! peaceful. My mattress dropped a bit from over use. We arrived in early Oct. so most business had shut down from the Fall. One restaurant was open for lunch and the castle wasn’t to open until Nov again. But lots of walking in nature opportunities! Yes, I am already planning my next visit back!"

The room was small with bed against the wall so accessible from one side only. The bed itself was comfortable. Being convenient for the route it was also noisy all night if you are a light sleeper ear plugs would help. But it was cheap! "
