"Great location, close to Ikebukuro station. Room is clean and spacious. Staff are friendly and efficient. Bathroom needs an exhaust fan and had strong, unpleasant sewage smell even with the toilet deodoriser on."

"I frequently travel to Tokyo and this would be my favourite hotel to stay. Reasonable price, good connections to other places with JR and subway station, good food nearby (I recommend the Japanese-Italian place Kobaya just next door). The neighbourhood is a suburb but on the Yamanote line with great vibes. Rooms are moderately sized with a huge TV, shower facilities is great with the water heater being the best I have used (even better than my house!). Some of the staff are great with English too."

"We were a little concerned that it wasn’t in the centre or the action but access was really easy and quick from Akabane station. We were there for 5 days. The room was small but comfortable. We had the room cleaned once and they did a good job. The other days fresh towels were left on the door. Lots of amenities in reception inc body creams, shoe shine, hair products. We didn’t use their pjs. Laundry was very good. Washing mc 200 yen, drier and detergent free. Breakfast was ok and you can help yourself to free drinks in the evening. Staff were very good, friendly. Would definitely stay again."

"Very friendly reception, i had an excellent stay there. They were very helpful and it was easy, thanks to advice i was given, I was able to go to a concert and know what to do as well as being able to buy things I wanted to take home when I left. The room is very well provided for and clean"

"Laundry unit was convenient. Station close by. I'm not bothered by street sounds, but my travel mates said it was a little loud. I've stayed at both Randor Residence in Arakawa, and both are very wonderful to stay!"

"I always love staying at the Ikebukuro area and this hotel was definitely a location i will be coming back to for future trips to Tokyo! The location is a bit tricky to find if you come by car because the gps will direct you to the front of the hotel on the main street but if you circle around to the back of the point on the map, there will be a parking area for Centurion hotel guests to have their car valet! Hotel consierge was very helpful and they have staff that also can speak english, korean, etc if you're worried about your limited Japanese comprehension. The room was so SPACIOUS? which i was not really expecting since it was in Tokyo, only 2 min walk from Ikebukuro station but it was such a nice surprise!!! Amenities are available on the concierge floor so make sure you grab things you need and that is also where the laundry is located. It is not complementary unfortunately, but understandable. The room was clean and location is super convenient so I highly recommend looking at this location for any future trips if you want to stay in Ikebukuro!"
