"The room was clean but had a strong smoke odor. I let the front desk know the morning of checkout and we comped 10%. Not much but at least it was something. The lady working the front desk the night I stayed was rude and passive aggressive. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name."

"Have stayed at the same location last Aug and had an enjoyable stay. When i was time to book another trip home I book my stay here. I arrived early and after explaining to the desk clerk i had been up 42 hrs he allowed me an early check in. There was a heavy musky (weed) smell. It maybe the 2 large dispensaries.that are around the hotel. Set room dated the carpet needed to be restreched the water was barely warm in the shower but I didn't care I needed to sleep. Kids in the next room making noise all night. When I left my room in the morning to go get breakfast people had thrown their trash in the hallway. I think this might be a Detroit thing as i've traveled extensively thur the US and Europe and i've never seen anything like this. Only in Detroit. I lived 45 years in Detroit , and i've never seen that. Breakfast over returning to my room, the lady next door open the door out came 6 kids.Then another woman and 4 kids.12 people in one room?? No wonder there was so much noise coming from that room."

"hotel management was very friendly every arriving and departing moments housekeeping staff were very thorough in their cleaning and organization despite what appears to be construction in the hotel there were no noises from it looking forward to staying with you next time thank you for your hospitality"

"Check in personnel are fast, helpful and give you the best warm chocolate chip 🍪 cookies. The hotel is next to the Blue Water bridge to Canada. 🇨🇦 The view of the river is great especially when a freighter goes by. 😀 The attached restaurant and bar service good food and drinks. 😋 The Doubletree at Port Huron is a great hotel. 🏨 "

"Both mornings we went to breakfast they were out of food (no milk, eggs, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, muffins, etc). There was still 45+ minutes before it shut down. When asked the lady said she was bringing the last of the omelets out and that was about 6. There were 20+ people still needing breakfast. "
