"My only issue is someone was smoking marijuana in one of the first floor rooms. The odor was terrible and it was leaching into my room and others that I talked to in passing in the hallway. Several people were discussing at breakfast the next morning. A few of us had made comments to the people working at the desk and they were not very helpful about it."

"The whole resort was immaculate, staff was super friendly, rooms were spacious. A little pricey, my only complaint would be the TV size (32") and the much needed updates. Definitely recommend and will stay here again!"

"I do wish we could have taken kids and dogs swimming. That area of the lake had so much seaweed, they couldnt swim. Which was a big factor of us booking there. But otherwise, we loved the house. We kept talking how we wished we owned a piece of property just like it. These places are so under appreciated by so many."

"Such a cute and cozy Cabin! Secluded, close to Lake Hamlin, and all of the amenities in Ludington! Loved the fire pit area, deck, and hot tub! Our fur boys was so relaxed and happy here!"

"Unbelievably clean with a very comfy mattress! The view from our room was crappy (a raggedy house next door), but the smell was fantastic... we were on the other side of a chocolate and ice cream shop! Would definitely stay here again."

"I waited a few days to write this review because I wanted to see if the impact of this trip still stuck with me. I have to say…it has.From the moment we arrived and saw the view of Lake Michigan through the family room picture window, I was hooked. I’ve had ocean front hotel rooms before…and those were great. But this was so much better…because it was ours to enjoy all by ourselves. To be able to take in that view day after day, I found I spoke less and less each subsequent day. I could no longer find words to express the beauty I was seeing or the peace and serenity I was feeling inside. I was both awed and humbled by this experience.I missed a bald eagle that flew by the first night, but had an experience with him the next I will never forget in a way. I was sitting on the patio playing guitar and watched the eagle fly toward me and perch in the tree above me. I couldn’t see him and just continued to play thinking that maybe he was attracted to the music…LOL. After about 10-minutes, I stepped back and found him still perched in the tree. He eventually flew to the top of a small pine tree about 75 yards away and was able to watch him up close through a telescope. I also took a number of pics…of course.Anyhow, I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone wishing for a full reset. The views are spectacular! The house is amazing. And the fire pit is peaceful & the constant breeze makes them easy to start. This place is truly a slice of heaven!!!"

"The property was very clean and comfortable, close to a main road and all of my husband's favorite fishing spots. It was a great stay and we would stay here again. The only downside was the additional fee for a damage deposit that weren't shown prior to the final booking steps."
