"Clean Rooms, Comfortable Beds. Those are my priority. This motel delivered. This is a travel-lodge style motel that is well maintained and scrupulously clean. It’s a no-frills property (but you came up here for the lakes and forest, anyway, right) with friendly staff and comfortable beds. It’s a good location. It’s a very good value. We knew were getting in late. We called ahead and got an entry code for our room. They left the light on. We got advice about the area and a coupon for breakfast at a very nice local restaurant. "

"Hi I love this motel The motel is one of the oldest in Muskegon They renovated just beautiful but kept the charm and history The rooms are large and tastefully decorated The staff is very professional and helpful included in your stay is a delicious breakfast The motel is centrally located and walking diistance to shopping and restaurants and many rooms have a lake view This is my 7 time staying at the motel. As quite lovely. "

"Everything surpassed our expectations. Words don't do the stunning views of the Big Lake justice; whether the brilliant sunsets, or the glow of the morning Sun, it's better than the pictures!Soaking in the hot tub under the stars was also a huge highlight.As was the fire pit, both that morning and at night! It's close to town and multiple restaurants, grocery store and areas of interest.And is a great launching pad for day trips to do some.Hiking or more coastal viewing! The hosts are available if needed, and provided a multitude of great insights as to some local spots, places to eat drink and sites to see!We had an amazing time here and would definitely come back!"

"Didn't need to use the fire place. This property is all about a million dollar view on a budget! Sunsets were amazing! Private beach on Lake Michigan was clean, no rocky terrain. Swimming was perfect, even at the end of September. Sand was sun heated. You can hear the host family's conversation through the walls, so they probably heard us too. For the price we can overlook that. Toaster, griddle, fridge and coffee, but no real kitchen. Bath is very nice. We plan to be back!"
