"Parking is now a pain, you no longer pay the hotel. Our room smelt like mildew and was super hot. Even turning down the thermostat, it never cooled off. Mind you it was about 60 degrees outside, so Texas heat didn’t play a part. Our toilet ran almost all night. Kind of disappointed in this stay with Embassy. Breakfast was wonderful as usual, the omelet chef was so nice and friendly. The lobby was clean and nice. "

"As soon as we checked in, I had to call to get our room re-cleaned. There were sticky globs on the vinyl floor and bedside tables. Our room had an upstairs sleeping area and the carpeted staircase had visible stuff in the carpet. When the cleaning staff swept the stairs, the dustpan was covered in the dirt and bits of trash that wasn’t cleaned before we arrived. And the water park area was gross too. Even when we arrived within half an hour of park opening, there were globs of hair and old bandaids on the ground. And the water features were flowering with rust. We’ve been to other GWL before and I was really really disappointed in the way this one was managed."

"The king suite was clean. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was nice. The spinach quiche was good. My only issue was there was one TV that sat in between the bedroom and living room. You basically had to swivel it towards the room you are in. In turn, if you were watching it in the living room, all the light would shine into the bedroom. That might sound like it is not a problem, but it was to my wife and I. With that in mind, with the great rates and the quality of the facility, i would not hesitate to stay there again. "

"Each morning (we only stayed two nights), when we woke up, our drink cups sitting next to the bed were covered in ants. When we told the staff the first day, they said they would make a note of it. On the second day, after showing them a picture, the front desk staff said they would report it. The staff seemed dismissive about the fact they were ants in the room."

"Our hotel room's air conditioning did not work. The weather was not bad so we dealt with it. The stay was work related and we were in and out and did not have time to get corrected. I will be staying by the DFW airport again this week, just not sure if the stay was worth the $$$. "
