"A good central location in the old town. Breakfast was amazing and we enjoyed the rooftop terrace. Rooms were well designed. However, the hotel isn't as fancy as other 5 star resorts in the Funchal! Pool is much smaller than the pictures make it look."

"Perfect location, very clean room, comfortable bed and pillows! The only thing missing was some sort of a mosquito screen on the windows - every time I opened them to get some fresh air, tiny flies from the nearby trees invaded my room."

"The property was as described, Bruno was very responsive and tha apartment had everything we needed. Only negative was that housekeeping was advertised as daily when in fact bins were only emptied every 2 days."
