Another lovely stay
I have stayed here several times and this was another excellent break. Also it is very important to me that the railway and supermarket are close by as I travel by train. Rye is very historical and I learned more about the town on this visit. There is so much to see. Also the Rye Harbour nature reserve is also a big highlight.

Great stay
Perfect for what we were looking for. Cosy, clean and very close to Rye town centre. Jacqueline was great on communications but nothing much needed as all provided for and very easy property to find and stay in. Although no parking at the property, large and cheap car park is around the corner so not an issue at all. Really enjoyed our stay and loved all Rye had to offer.

Perfect location
Great cottage in a lovely location, perfect for the short walk into Rye. Cottage has everything your could possibly need, spotlessly clean. Bathroom products, tea, coffee and milk a lovely touch. Only suggestion we could make was that perhaps a recycling bin available at the property, as we walked to the recommended recycling area in the leisure centre which did not have any bottle bins. Otherwise lovely stay would definitely return

Lovely Stay in Rye
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jacqueline's home in Rye. It was our first stop on a European travel trip with my family of four from Canada, to visit family. The home was perfect for a family of four. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean with a lovely shower. It was a great place to help us get over our jet lag as the beds were very comfortable. The location is nice and central and there is a lovely path behind the house that takes you out to the river and foothills for walking. I would recommend Jacqueline's home!

We really enjoyed our stay. Communication beforehand was clear, the place was easily found and was situated 5 minutes walk from the town centre and the shops and cafes etc. The house was clean, well-furnished, the TV worked, the beds were comfortable, the shower was good - everything was just right! We couldn't fault it and would definitely go back again.

Lovely, cosy cottage
We really enjoyed our stay in Rye. So close to everything, sparkling clean, easy check in and great communication. Really lovely bathroom, I'd recommend including pics online as such an asset. Only slightly tricky thing was the lack of parking at the house, as a solo parent that wasn't ideal. Otherwise 10/10 and would highly recommend!

Very cosy place
We stayed in the cottage over Easter weekend. It's very neat, nicely decoratetad, clean and well equipped. Location is ideal, just a walking distance to the town, minutes from the shop. Great communication with the owner. Highly reccommended

A fantastic holiday home in ancient Rye
The house is very conveniently situated for walking into town, with the supermarket and parking just a few minutes walk away. Although close to the railway line we found the location quiet. Rye is a fantastic place to holiday with so much to do locally, independent shops in the town and an excellent nature reserve on the doorstep. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It is tastefully decorated and made a very good base for us. The owner, Jaqueline could not have been kinder and more helpful. We definitely plan to return and would highly recommend the house to others.

Family holiday
We were looking for a place to stay in Rye so we were able to go to the beaches everyday whilst dining at home due to having a small child. The property is a great size for 4 people on a short break and was clean. There are a few areas that are in need of a bit of a refresh (downstairs bathroom paint peeling) and we found having no freezer difficult especially when staying in the summer. The beds are comfy and the rooms are fine for a short stay but the lack of storage would make this difficult for anything longer than a couple of days. We were woken up both nights of our stay by the trains and the locality (through route for locals to the town). The location is handy though as a big supermarket is a minutes walk.

The cottage is lovely great central location, close to station and brilliant local supermarket Jempsons where you can get everything you need .Rye town only a few mins walk away .we loved staying at the cottage as it was so comfy and modern and had everything we needed very clean and well kept Thank you Jacqueline for the great communication we had a brilliant time would definitely come back and recommend to family and friends

A perfect place to stay in Rye
The photos don’t do the house justice. It’s very clean, very comfortable, very well-designed. A totally equipped kitchen, which we appreciated since we seldom eat out. We especially enjoyed sitting in the little courtyard with coffee or wine.

Fantastic cottage in a great location for a weekend in Rye. Host was very quick to respond to questions and share helpful information, and the cottage was just so cute! If you're arriving by train it's only a 5 minute walk from the station, and if by car there are multiple parking options. We will stay here again!

This was our second stay at the cottage. It is perfectly located and exceptionally clean. The host communication and service is exceptional. On our arrival a packet of biscuits, milk and a bottle of wine were waiting for us! Such a nice and thoughtful service! We will definitely be back!

Perfect getaway without a car
A cosy but not cramped cottage for the two of us. A friend came for one overnight stay. The fuel situation determined us to take the train to Rye. The house was a two-minute walk from the station and the cottage's efficient double-glazing ensured the trains could not be heard. Lovely to spend a gentle week just walking around town, Perfect weather too.

Perfect Getaway
A sweet little terraced property. Although the houses either side were occupied we didn't hear a sound. Although no parking outside the house there was a cheap carpark only a few minutes away £2 a day!! We didn't need to use the car as there was a large co-op about 3 mins walk away and the old part of Rye about 4 mins. It was so spick and span that until we read the visitors book we thought we must be one of the first to use it.

Highly recommend!
Great location close to all of Rye's main attractions. Cottage is located by a busy road and railway track. Very clean and came with everything we needed for a 2 night stay! Would definitely visit again.

Conveniently-located cottage
Tastefully decorated with wooden floors, this cottage is a few minutes walk from the centre of Rye with it's many restaurants and shops. and it's just across the road from a good supermarket. We parked in Gibbet Marsh carpark for £2 per day which is nearby. The walk along the beach at Rye Harbour is recommended and we also enjoyed a trip to Dungeness. We would certainly stay here again.

Perfectly located for all that Rye and the surrounding area has to offer
The whole process of booking and accessing the property was very smooth. Everything was exactly as described and immaculately clean.. Perfect central location for restaurants, shops, supermarket, etc. Only slight niggle was lack of equipment in the kitchen, a chopping board for example... that said I still give the property 10/10. Will definitely be back.

Really lovely place - the nicest we’ve stayed in over a few different trips to Rye in recent years.
