The house is extremely spacious, very nicely decorated and the pool was always clean and enticing. The extra amenities in the house made the stay even more pleasant and comfortable for us. Gilles, the host, was always available with tips and information, if needed.

We stayed with our family of 6 for 2 weeks and we had a wonderful time. The property is even better than described with lots of thought given to all your needs. The house is well situated for traveling to lovely villages and local towns. Gilles the owner was most helpful without being intrusive. He was great at communicating through our stay if we needed him. Rustrel is a lovely village with a very good small shop and bakery. We are happy to highly recommended this property.

Beautiful Villa

Gilles was an excellent host, and the house and yard are fantastic. We really enjoyed Rustrel and the surrounding area. In addition to the great bakery in town, we liked Au Pierrot Blanc in Apt (lavender ice cream) and horseback riding at the Horse Farm De Joucas (beautiful trail rides through vineyards, lavender fields). There are so many great things to do nearby that it's hard to choose, though! We enjoyed all of the helpful recommendations from Gilles.

Perfect Provence family experience!

Gilles was very personable, thorough, and helpful with our booking, arrival, and stay. We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt comfortable in our new surroundings. The pool was a huge plus for all of us, especially our two grandchildren. During the day we explored and had our adventures, while our evenings were spent outside around the table enjoying dinner, looking at the Colorado mountain view, slipping back into the pool, watching a mother dove feed her young, listening to the cicadas, and playing card games. It was a wonderful blend of activity and relaxation.

Gorgeous gite in a fantastic location

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in this gorgeous gite - one week wasn’t enough!! The gite overlooks the Colorado Provençal (we did 2 great walks here) and we had lovely meals enjoying the view from the terrace. Even the bathroom had gorgeous views!!The village of Rustrel is delightful and just a 5 minute stroll - we visited the thriving boulangerie every morning for bread and pastries. We also had drinks and ice creams in the village bars. There is so much to do in the area - picturesque towns and villages, beautiful walks and fun activities such as via ferrata, canyoning and caving. Gilles is the perfect host! He was very helpful and responsive before our stay and gave us a warm welcome on arrival (and kindly let us check in early which was super helpful). Thank you so much Gilles - you should be very proud of your stunning gite.

Très belles vacances dans cette villa au calme, proche du centre du village et de ses commerces. Le jardin et la piscine garantissent des moments de tranquillité et de quiétude. La maison est parfaitement équipée. La plupart des villages du Luberon sont accessibles en peu de temps. Enfin Gilles s’est montré très accueillant et réactif dans les echanges. Une parenthèse enchantée

Une location qui a coché toutes les cases: - une belle maison très bien agencée. - un jardin bien aménagé avec une terrasse ombragée parfaitement adaptée pour tous les repas + une petite piscine bien placée et très agreable. A noter que la maison est particulièrement bien équipée pour une location - c’est « comme à la maison ! » Enfin Gilles notre hôte était très accueillant, sympathique et de bons conseils pour les activités ou les visites. einfach perfekt

Das Haus in Rustrel liegt am Rande des Dorfes und so ist man nah genug am Dorfplatz mit Restaurant und morgendlichem Bäcker, sowie gleichzeitig sehr ruhig und privat gelegen mit herrlichem Blick in die Landschaft. Im Haus fehlt es an Nichts, die Betten sind wunderbar bequem, 6 Personen finden wunderbar Platz, an alles ist gedacht. Gilles ist ein super freundlicher Vermieter, mit dem man sich wunderbar unterhalten kann und der mit Rat und Tipps zur Seite steht. Danke für die wunderbare Zeit Gilles, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Ein Traum

Ein Haus das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Ein perfekter Urlaub. So wie es sein soll. Wir genossen zwei Wochen perfekten Urlaub in diesem schönen ruhig gelegenen Haus, dass der Eigentümer Gilles mit viel Mühe und Geschmack ausgebaut und eingerichtet hat. Wir kommen wieder! Superbe séjour à Rustrel

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le mas de Gilles. La maison est très agréable et très bien équipée. Le jardin est calme et bien orienté avec une jolie vue sur le Colorado provençal. Nous avons passé de bons moments sur les transats sous les oliviers autour de la piscine. Gilles est sympathique et attentionné.

Très, très agréable

Une maison très agréable. La maison est décorée avec goût et on se sent chez soi. La maison a tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Très bien qu’il y a deux salles de bains (douche). L’Hote, Gilles, est sympa. L’ environnement est magnifique. On peut visiter des nombreuses villages et on peut faire de promenades à pied et sur les pédales. Et ensuite: réposer au bord de la piscine. Nous avons mangé plusieurs fois dans un restaurant. Il y a plein de options, p.e. Bistrot de Lagarde, le Sanglier paresseux et La table de Pablo. N’a pas envie de cuisiner? Prendre un repas de l’epicerie des fées. C’est super.

wunderschönes provencialisches Haus in ruhiger Dorflage

Das Haus mit Garten und Pool sind fantastisch. Das Haus ist sehr groß und bietet ausreichend Platz für 6 Personen. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll und man findet in der Küche alles, was man braucht. Rustrel ist ein Dorf mit nettem Restaurant und Cafe. Es befindet sich ein kleiner Laden fußläufig vom Haus, wo man Baguette und alles für den täglichen Bedarf findet. Die Lage des Hauses ist unmittelbar am Ortskern, aber es ist ruhig und man ist im Garten unbeobachtet. Von Rustel aus ist man schnell in allen schönen Orten im Luberon. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und werden gerne wieder kommen. Gilles ist ein super Gastgeber, der einem immer zur Verfügung steht, aber auch die Privatsphäre sehr achtet.

Wonderful stay in Provence

We loved staying in this beautiful villa. The pictures do not do it justice. Each morning we woke up to a picture perfect view from our bedrooms and bathroom. Our girls (6 and 8) loved swimming in the pool in the evenings while we relaxed on the terrace with wine and cheese. The town of Rustrel was lovely, with a small grocery store and one of the best bakeries in Provence. Would recommend this lovely villa to anyone hoping to relax and enjoy Provence!

Perfect village location

Our stay in Rustrel was wonderful. Communication with Gilles was excellent and he was very helpful. The photos don’t do the house justice, and the gardens and pool area are beautiful. We love this area of Provence and all our favourite villages were easy to visit from this location. Rustrel is a gorgeous little village. The boulangerie is excellent and also has an ice cream parlour & bar. The grocer’s is open 7 days a week for essentials and fabulous deli counter. Such a treat to have these shops in close walking distance for lazy pool days.

Un séjour parfait

Nous avons passé deux magnifiques semaines dans cette belle maison. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme, la piscine, la proximité du village et de multiples départs de ballades. La maison est superbe, très bien entretenue et d'une grande propreté. Gilles, le propriétaire,a été très accueillant, prêt à répondre à nos questions lorsque besoin. Nous conseillons vivement ce bel endroit et nous y reviendrons certainement!

Great house in a nice setting

We booked this house very last minute and were super impressed with how quickly Gilles responded and managed everything so smoothly. On arrival, Gilles helped us settle in and offered to help us make dinner plans etc. The property is at the end of a little lane and very private. The pool is small but well maintained and the view from the bedrooms and living areas is super nice. The decor is very well maintained and fresh feeling. The beds were very comfortable with great linen and furnishings. There are two shower rooms upstairs and one separate WC, and one WC downstairs. The kitchen is well equipped and there are thoughtful little details like clean clothes and dishwasher tabs provided. Gilles was extremely responsive throughout our stay and went above and beyond to help you feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend this house to a family or small group for a week enjoying some Provencal tranquility. The only negative is the small primary school located just a few metres away; obviously not a problem during summer months and only noisy at break times; if you are out and about sightseeing you might not even notice!

Wunderbares Haus in toller Lage

Sehr gepflegtes Haus, tiptop sauber und bis ins Detail perfekt ausgestattet. Man merkt, dass dem Vermieter die Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegen, da auch an die kleinsten Details gedacht wurde (Grillkohle für Kohlegrill vorrätig, gespaltenes Feuerholz, Starterset Kaffekapseln, frische Blumen in der Küche). Gilles war für Fragen immer erreichbar und stand mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Zu Fuß sind Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs gut erreichbar. Toller Ausgangspunkt für für Ausflüge in den Luberon. Für den nächsten Urlaub in der Provence werdeb wir definitiv wieder dieses Haus wählen.
