The best time to visit Rusnė is during the summer months, from June to August, when the weather is warm and the days are long.During this period, the average daily temperatures range from a pleasant 20°C to 25°C, making it ideal for outdoor activities such as fishing, cycling, or exploring the Rusnė Island wetlands. The long daylight hours, often extending past 9 PM, provide ample time to enjoy the scenery and local wildlife. It's also when various local events and festivals take place, offering a deeper insight into the local culture. For those interested in birdwatching, late spring (May) and early autumn (September) can also be excellent. These shoulder seasons offer cooler temperatures, fewer visitors, and the chance to observe migratory birds as they pass through the Nemunas Delta Regional Park. While some services might be reduced compared to peak summer, you'll find a more peaceful experience.
