"The location is beautiful and the ferries across to Vaxholm are easy to use. The house is very pretty and quirky and the beds were comfortable, although we had to make them ourselves on arrival. The kitchen is well equipped with nice coffee machines and cooker etc but it would be helpful to have some larger serving bowls for salad etc! It was great to have access to paddle boards which the teenagers made good use of. The instructions for the various toilets were a bit confusing but the host...

"Wir hatten ein schönes gemütliches kleines Häuschen am See. Die Ruhe und der Ausblick über den See waren stets atemberaubend. Es steht ein Ruderboot, ein Kanadier und ein SUP zur Nutzung zur Verfügung. Was wir auch auf dem See genutzt haben. (Motorboot hatten wir nicht genutzt). Das Häuschen ist gemütlich und hat in der Küche alle Utenslien. Seifen/Spülmittel sind vorhanden (Toilettenpapier, Geschirrtuch selbst mitbringen). Die Sauna ist toll und die Abkühlung danach im See macht süchtig....

Es ist zwar klein und teilweise renovierungsbedürftig, aber es hat definitiv Charme und die Lage ist einmalig. "We spent a very happy 8 nights here. As we hadn't rented a car we relied on the local train - which worked well and we nipped in to Stockholm easily a couple of times.
