"The place worked well for us for the price. Key highlights: They upgraded us to the honeymoon suite at no additional charge because the AC in our room was not working. They take safety very serious. Nobody will knock on your door or come into your room unless you request service. So we felt very safe. Location was also convenient. I give them four stars because the room was quite dusty, and there was a sewer stench in the bathroom. water had probably noot been run in a while."

Cooking the jerk chicken, unbelievable friendly and I have a very hard worker and he made everybody happy with the jerk chicken. My room was clean every day. "Staff was fantastic; truly a joy to have them around. Property was good for the price, although slightly damaged due to a recent hurricane. (Hot water didn't work until the last day I was there, but it's fixed now.) Area around the villa is pretty much "other villas" - you'll need either to rent a car, take a taxi, or walk down to the gas station to catch the bus if you want to get so the local tourist attractions. The complimentary breakfast was also excellent - traditional Jamaican cuisine (boiled plantains, potatoes, saltfish, sausage, dumplings, etc.) cooked really well. Dinner was extra ($10/person), but also consistently good. While I ate as much jerk chicken as I could throughout the day, I didn't feel any real need to try OTHER places, as the villa food was more than sufficient. This is very much a villa to stay at if you want go get away from crowds and stereotypical touristy locations."

"Everything about the resort was excellent. More than anything the staff gave 100% and two staff in particular stood out. Monique the food and beverage manager and Shashorn from the privilege area by the pool on the Eden side always went over and above to help, and made our stay the best. Also Devon who took us on a tour and also did our transfer back to the airport, was kind, helpful and informative. Would definately return "

"Overall a great resort with the friendliest staff! Small enough to feel intimate but has enough to do between the different restaurants, pools, and excursions. Some of the rooms seem to have been recently upgraded with new furniture. Take the nature walk with Alfred, he's the best!"
