"Stuff lovely but in a room a lot of dust and two massive spiders. In general place is on great location and atmosphere is really nice. Only improvement I can say it needs is that rooms need to be cleaner. "

"I stayed at the Jester while I was in the area for business. Bas and his chef Derek bent over backwards to accommodate during what was a very difficult time for them at the tail end of the second lockdown. With no other staff to support them, and making preparations for the reopening, they still found time to make sure I had access to evening meals and breakfast, despite the fact they had no reason to open the kitchen, just to serve me. "Staff are attentive and do a good job of listening to their customers. Excellent transportation with the neighboring station for Cambridge, London and Stansted airport. Trains do create some noise but not an issue unless the windows are open. Food and drink options at the hotel are good, and the next door pub has additional choices."

"Pros: really clean, modern, felt safe, professional and helpful staff, dining options available, nice shower and comfortable bed. Cons: limited parking and directed to a car park that is 8 mins walk away. Full review: Great modern room, staff at the front desk were professional and helpful, the shower was fantastic and the bed really comfortable. I had a great nights sleep. The room was very clean! I didn’t take the breakfast option, but one was available and there were also dinner options, although again i didn’t take them. With hotels, I need to feel safe and comfortable and this hotel felt exactly that. The only con during my stay was that the parking was full when i arrived so they directed me to an alternative car park which was 8 mins walk away - something i didn’t feel like doing in the dark in an area i don’t know well. Luckily i found overnight parking nearby but i wouldn’t let this stop me from returning."
