"I’m so disappointed with this arrived and it was not even close to what I was expecting from the booking. Not to mention that I had to wait outside for nearly an hour and a half as someone else had taken my room and I had not been given any information on how to enter the property keys, et cetera. Once I finally got hold of The guy in charge, he was not very pleasant to deal with or very welcoming.
Due to the issues leading up to this point, I ended up booking somewhere else as just did not...

"The room was nice if somewhat dark - dark wallpaper and dark furniture. The bathroom had a big shower but signs of mould in places. Sadly the shower didn’t work brilliantly, changing pressure and temperature. The spa was great had a fabulous massage. "
"Lovely little room had everything and more , nice little touches, shortbread and macaron from chef. Fridge on wall with daily fresh milk. Friendly staff. Great choice for breakfast using local ingredients. Rooms are across the street from the pub, narrow stairs may be tricky for people with reduced mobility. Would definitely stay again, short stroll to the Cathedral and city centre, quiet location"
"We stayed for 3 nights. Excellent staff and very comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. The location is perfect, the view from our room was Winchester Cathedral. Parking is reasonably priced at the hotel but you need to get there early as the car park is not very large

"The staff at the hotel couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful, particularly Anka. I’d fallen and cracked my ribs and they immediately brought an ice pack and changed my room so I wouldn’t have as many stairs and did everything possible to help me. The hotel is charming with a beautiful garden and a nice restaurant. "
