Bluebird spur was exactly as described, the house was spotless, lots of room to spread out and relax, great location super convenient to the local grocery store. Would definitely stay again.
House was comfortable to share with extended family to all be together during a family trip. We were able to easily drive to all the locations we had planned to visit in the city, the foosball table was a big hit, and a nice big front yard for games.
We loved our trip! Host was very accommodating. Quick to respond and helped with any needs throughout our stay. House had everything we needed. Our kids loved the foosball and outdoor fire pit. Plenty of parking. Lots of space for our whole group.
This home is very cozy and in a great location for our trip to Lookout Mountain. It was very clean and well stocked. The outdoor fire pit and the enclosed porch area was a great gathering spot. Close to a grocery store and several places to eat.
It was a precious house, everything was clean and the outside area was wonderful. Plenty of room for the kids to play outside. We would love to come back again.
House was very nice and clean. Plenty of room. Patio and outside fire pit was very nice. Close to grocery stores, thrift stores, and close to Chattanooga. Would definitely stay here again.
My friends and I had a wonderful stay at the Blue Bird house. The location was convenient to Chattanooga (about 20 minutes). The screened in porch was very nice, along with the fire pit. The host was extremely communicative and checked in to ensure our stay was going well. I would definitely recommend this property!
We stayed in this home for a week. We loved it! It was a perfect setup! We visited all the local sites and shopped...a lot! This was very close to all we did and had good food nearby! Food city is great and it's so close! Pictures dont do it justice!
The communication with the host was excellent. The property was everything that the website listed. Parking was great. It is within walking distance to the grocery store and Family Dollar. It was not far from Ruby Falls and Rock City which was where we planned to go. No complaints, 10/10, Would recommend staying here.
We came down for a two job.If we are ever doing work in that area, we would love to stay here again. It is a quiet spot with a grocerys and gas station 2 mins away....Worked great for us.. Thank you.
Very nice house. The house is older but well taken care of! Everything was clean and in order. It is within easy driving distance of major attractions and downtown chatanooga but outside the bustle of the city. Sage checked in with us several times to make sure everything was going well.
My family and I had a very pleasant stay. The best part was the fireplace! It was nice to be able to Sit around the fire and enjoy the family. The other part of the house was a bit cold. I did inquire about the thermostat not going past67 however that issue was resolved. It was really cold outside. The house was clean and served us well. Not sure if we will book here again.
Home is older, several doors stick or don’t close, however, house is extremely clean & roomy with nice decor & game room! Also has roomy screened-in porch that was very pleasant. We did not get a chance to use the outdoor fire pit but it looked fabulous & even had wood! Floors very squeaky so hard to be quiet in the morning, but to be expected in an older home. Again, extremely clean & had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.
My mother, her friend and I were having a girls trip to Chattanooga. The rental was clean and cute. The area felt safe to where we even walked around at night. We had a few issues with TV, remotes and one of the bathtubs, but all issues had a timely resolution by host. We did not cook or use the kitchen beyond making coffee. Washer and dryer worked great. We had a full schedule of events and all were within 20 minutes or less driving. If going into Chattanooga, we recommend BBB (Big Bad Breakfast) and the coffee shop around the corner.
The house by itself is very charming, the kids had fun playing with the foosball table as well as the other games they have available. We were mostly out so we weren't able to use the firepit. The location is very convenient as it has easy access to grocery, gas station, restaurants and other stores. My only complaint is with the water as it takes forever to produce hot water and the flow is rather slow, we had issues with plumbing but they quickly had it fixed. Overall it was an awesome experience.
We loved this property. Our family had fun catching lightening bugs on the front lawn. The grass was soft and we had fun just running and playing in the grass. The backyard space was also nice. The porch area with the chair swings was a big hit with the kids. We played board games and cards in the game room. The property was clean and plenty of room for our family. The location was perfect. Most tourist attractions in chattanooga were within a 25 min drive. There was a gas station, store, and dollar store about 2 mins up the road. We would stay here again and we wpuld have loved to stay longer!
The house is older than it appeared in the photos. The house was clean and mattresses were good. Though the place did have all the required necessities, dishes, furniture, etc., everything was not of great quality, and definitely nothing extra supplied that you might find at some of the other VBRO's I have stayed at. We had some problems with the air conditioning. The management was great at responding to our emails, even late in the evening.
We enjoyed out stay. The house was clean and comfortable and had plenty of space. We made ourselves at home and enjoyed family time together. My husband and son loved the foosball table. The couches were the perfect place to watch some football. There is a nice grocery store within walking distance which was an unexpected surprise. The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. The only minor negatives were the kitchen was very basic and could be stocked better. They only left 4 keurig pods for 3 adults for 2 mornings. Definitely not enough. The shower in the large bathroom does not have good water pressure and the faucet handle is loose. All in all very minor complaints. We would recommend staying here.
Location was close enough for what we wanted to do. St.Elmo is 14 mins away. Cute town with restaurants and ice cream shop. Easy to get to Chattanooga. Comfy beds. Powerful shower head. Huge bathroom, plenty of space to get ready especially if you had a few small children. Decorated nicely. Main couch in front of TV was not very comfortable. Cushions pushed down into edge.. but we didnt sit inside much. Fully enjoyed the outdoor space!! Porch and firepit was nice! Kids had fun with ladder golf! Indoor games to play as well. I wouldn't consider kitchen fully stocked. In my opinion it lacked some basic cooking dishes, and bakeware. Bring foil, baggies, cling wrap, things like that. If you're going to cook and need to store leftovers or wrap up food. There are a few platic storage containers. There are no cookie sheets or muffin tins, 1 very large bowl but no specific mixing or serving bowls. I choose vrbo's over hotels because we don't eat out much for budget and diet reasons and I need a kitchen to cook for my family. 2 burners on stove were not functioning.
This house was wonderful for our family of 5 - our 3 “kids” are all adults and we had plenty of room. We stayed for 5 days in March and had a great time. The house has a very unique layout with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds and one has a traditional bunk-bed with a twin-over-full bunk. It has a large dining room with a table for 6, and a “breakfast nook” off the kitchen with a table for 4 and a foosball table. There are doors off the nook and the living room that open onto a very large screened-in porch that has another table for 6 and 4 “egg-type” chairs. The large living room has 3 couches, all with great seating for the wall-mounted flat screen TV with Samsung Plus. Outside there is a lovely firepit and grill that we used. The property is very large and private; had the feeling of being "out in the country." The homeowner was great to work with and provided clean towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in both the bathrooms, as well as hand soap. The kitchen was well-equipped and the homeowner provided dish soap, sponges, hand soap and a towel. Everything was exceptionally clean. We usually travel with 3 other adult family members and we all would have had enough room to enjoy this property. We definitely recommend this property to any family and would stay here again! Would also look for other properties hosted by this owner.
