"Concerned about the tub area. No mat or rough area inside the tub so could slip easily. No bar to hold onto getting out of the tub so that could cause a slip and fall. "

The rooms are spotless, and the staff is friendly and accommodating — one even carried my suitcase upstairs since there’s no elevator. The breakfast area was clean and offered a nice variety of healthy options. An excellent stay overall. "

"Greated by the owner. Very friendly and gracious host. Given an option of room style. Parking lot spotless, parking in front of room. Opened the door to room, and WOW! Never seen or stayed in such a spotless room. Bed linens, bathroom, dressing area, windows, blinds, everything amazingly clean and neat. Would give a plus plus rating and recommend to all going to the Port Hope area. Lovely downtown with multiple choices of restaurants. Don't snooze anywhere else and miss out on this one!"

"Emmanual & Torrence are very accomodating and pleasant as always. Only issue is the heater/a.c is old and hard to adjust. Hopefully new ones might be installed. Great hotel overall."
