Roomy house on the south branch of the Ausable River. Comfortably sleeps 8. Large deck overlooks the river. Fireplace in the living room, 2 car garage and 3 car garage, fire pit on the riverbank. Trout fishing and canoeing. This house is upstream of all the canoe liveries. the mason tract, (flies only water), starts 4 miles downstream. State ski/ hiking trail starts at the end of the road, (⅛ mile) . Groomed for classical and skating.
snowmobile trails in town. (1 mile)
Higgins Lake is 10 minuets away. Grayling is 15 miles up the road.

Great house for a big family. Nice deck to watch the ducks, birds, rabbits and squirrels. Big kitchen for cooking and a nice firepit.

Great family vacation

Our stay was amazing! Mom, Dad, and 3 daughters ages 12, 8, 7. Plenty of room and so many things to explore. We used Campbell's down the road to Kayak. Higgins lake state park is so close we visited there for a day trip. We golfed, and spent the rest of the time on the decks overlooking the gorgeous river.

Excellent owner

We were staying to work on a nearby new home and a storm knocked the power to the new home. The owner of this rental worked with us to move our stay without any penalties. I will stay here anytime im in town.

Beautiful home on the Au Sable River

Great location- close to downtown and right around the corner from the canoe drop off. Also, a short 10 min drive to the Cross Country Ski Headquarters!

Perfect weekend stay

This is a perfect property for a short or extended stay. It's in a great location next to ski trails. The house is spotless and well-equipped with all kitchen utensils, plates, cups, etc.Excellent communication with Bill, the property manager. Bill’s property in Roscommon is perfect for nature lovers! It’s a scenic property overlooking the river. A relaxing retreat! The house has beautiful views overlooking the river and all the wildlife to go with it.

Very Nice Get-A-Way

This property is in a beautiful location right on the AuSable River. The house provided us with things to do with one of the rainy days we had. This is not the first time we stayed here, and it won't be the last.
