"The staff was welcoming and kept everything stocked from toiletries to coffee, yogurt, and donuts each morning. The view of the water from our balcony was beautiful. There was a large group of people staying together right below us that were loud, but after they left it was relatively normal weekend noise level. The area around the hotel is very walkable or great for biking,and we really enjoyed the nice trail system they have around town. The pool looked clean but it is not heated, so we didnt go in. The beds were comfortable but a bit creaky."

"This is a house that was built in the 1800s if you don't like old places this hotel is not for you. I had booked an economy room on the second floor and was pleasently surprised by the look of the room. The usual ameneties: fridge, coffee machine, hair dryer, ac, comfortable bed, free parking etc. Other than some pealing paint in the bathroom the room was perfect. I did enjoy my stay and would gladly return."

"Otter Cove is a spacious, modern house with a large mowed lawn that extends to the ocean. There are beautiful sunsets. There are also indoor ocean views from the first and 2nd floor of the house and a large outside deck that includes a fire pit area. 4 bedrooms, living room, large den and kitchen/dining area provide ample space for guests. The house is within a short drive from the ferry, the Rockefellar Estate, or a lighthouse. Teresa was an excellent host regarding quick communication and several lovely welcome treats and a greeting provided upon arrival."

"It was clean comfortable. Cozy even on a rainy morning. Bedroom roomy and bed comfortable. Kitchen nicely set up with all the right cooking and eating utensils. Coffee maker. Bathroom clean. Water pressure great. Reasonably priced."

"A truly wonderful property to fully commune with Mother Nature's grandeur, while visiting the Island.Bald Eagles were everywhere, along with heron, porpoise, seals and even the occasional whale, this late in the season. Not to mention fishing boats, whale watching boats, commercial freighters and cruise ships passing by as well, all visible from the cottage and the back deck. The spot is ideal, sitting up on a cliff, overlooking 'Head Harbour Passage', with western skies visible in the evenings.A great location for easy access to Head Harbour Lighthouse (1 mi), kayak launching (1 mi), fresh seafood (1/2 mi) and a small island convenience store (1 mi).There are two beautiful parks and a whale watching tour company on the other side of the island (7 to 8 mi), including the renowned Roosevelt Campobello International Park, almost exclusively free-of-charge. Don't miss an opportunity to attend "Eleanor's Tea", which will surely leave you with a lasting impression of Eleanor Roosevelt's contributions to the local area, the Country and the World.Life is short, fragile and 'someday' is not guaranteed. If you can, make time in your busy lives to come experience this place...... you won't be disappointed.Reserved this property for 4 nights, during the week, in late September 2026, for a visit with a Childhood Friend and their Spouse.
