"Awesome fall trip!This was our third time staying at Manatee Manor and it was just as great as we remembered. Lisa is super easy to communicate with and made everything smooth. The house was clean, comfy, and perfect for the two of us and our pups. Loved the fenced yard and relaxing on the deck. Broadkill is so quiet and peaceful—great spot to unwind and listen to the waves. Plus, it’s close to our favorite places like Dogfish Brewery, Nassau Winery and Woody’s. Perfect as always - looking forward to our October trip to your other house in Broadkill."

"The house was so cute! The gardens in the back and around the front entry were really amazing and added to the charm. When you walk in the little hall way goes left to a living area or right to a set of stairs that leads to the upper floor. The upstairs has a huge bathroom and 3 bedrooms. The bedroom all the way to the left has 2 beds and a kitchenette in it which was pretty cool. The other side of the hall has a queen bedroom and a single bedroom. The upstairs also has a door at the bottom which can be closed to make 2 apartments. Downstairs has a master king ensuite bedroom with a really comfortable mattress (its very firm but i love that). The whole house had really nice blinds for privacy. There is a galley like kitchen which is small but was perfect for us. An entry to the backyard gardens and paths is right off the kitchen. There is a dining room off of the livingroom that has a door with a cute bell on the bottom that leads to a deck. The entire yard is fenced in. It was perfect for our pup to run around in. We really enjoyed the decor of the place and the historical cosiness of it! It reminds me of a little Halloween house! The picket fence and the front entry add so much charm and sort of take you back in history. The house also seems to be cat friendly! There is a cat tree and catdoors all around! I wish i could have traveled with my cats! They would have appreciated the house as much as I did! The place is also close to town. The host is friendly and responsive! "

"Carrie was super responsive and took care of our every request. Her cottage was adorable and very well stocked with kitchen appliances and cooking needs. Bedrooms had extra linens, blankets. Super nice. And dog bowls and blankets! Beach was very natural and not crowded. Carrie provides beach chairs, too. Super close to walk to the beach."

"Bill the owner of the Governors Mansion was super making our breakfasts. The Air and B is clean, comfortable and a great place for us near good food at Po Boys, trival pursuit at Iris Eyes and The Mexican Resteraunt plus the beaches we explored. Both Debbie and Bill made us feel welcomed and were grest company. Plus the place helped us rest well. "

"The home was wonderful, and we had a great time! Everything was provided except a working grill, but anything else you can imagine was there to make our stay feel like home. Close enough to all Delaware beaches and the state park for us to enjoy the beautiful weather and sites. The beds were very comfortable. "

"We highly enjoyed our stay at Blue Haven. It is the loveliest home we have spent time in at Broadkill Beach or the surrounding area so far. The rooms are clean and spacious and the hosts thought of everything we may have needed.The walk to the bay/beach was very short so we could spend lots of time out in the sun, enjoying the bay. The outdoor shower was very helpful for keeping the sand out. I hope to spend more time next summer!"
