Sotine Beach House - a holiday let that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

"Every May and October our small group of four ladies get together for a weekend of gossip, crafting, walking, sea dipping and this year we added glamour by staying at Sotine Beach House. We knew the location wasn’t going to give us sea views or cafe culture, but, honestly, once you’re inside this lovely place, it doesn’t matter. The nearby beach is sandy and perfect for a cobweb blowing stroll, and for sea dippers head half an hour up the coast to Hythe, we booked The Little Sauna and had it to ourselves! The sea was glorious and we came back invigorated. We chose to let Mr Marks and Mr Spencer do our catering but for those who love to cook, the kitchen is easily the best equipped I’ve ever come across, with no shortage of cookery books to inspire you. The hot tub was a lovely luxury, adding a new must to our twice yearly get always. I fear that Sotine Beach House might well have spoiled us to the point where return is inevitable."

"We had a lovely stay in this comfortable house, which is in a fantastic location and very convenient for exploring the area. Communication from the host was excellent, and we really appreciated the thoughtful welcome gifts and little touches on arrival. The internet connection was quite weak during our stay.The house is very warm, which was particularly noticeable during our stay as the weather was hot. As a townhouse, the outside spaces are relatively small and spread across the three floors, so there wasn’t really an area where we could all sit together outside and enjoy the sea view. However, the back yard accommodated us all and worked well for an enjoyable games night and barbecue."

"A lovely holiday home, equipped with just about everything you may need, particularly in the kitchen. Very clean and tidy on arrival. The area is very peaceful with lots to do within a short drive. The ice cream outlet just outside the back gate was amazing, though the service was a bit slow, it was worth the wait! The beach area itself was very clean and tidy. Very informative host. I don’t usually go somewhere twice, as the world is a big place, but I might make an exception here. Would highly recommended!"
